The employees here are not the nicest honestly. Sometimes I am greeted when I walk in, not always. The cashiers rarely say anything at the register. Not even a hello, or acknowledgment of any kind. Today, I went in and the cashier didn’t say anything, so I said “Hi, how are you?” and they said NOTHING back. The only thing they said to me was my total…I wish I could say this wasn’t typical, but it is. All with different employees. There is another cashier who never says a word, and often has questionable hygiene. Which I feel bad about mentioning but in a food service/grocery environment good hygiene is imperative. They don’t always bag or even help bag for you. I’ve stood there plenty of times rushing to get things in bags while they start taking the next customer. The employees are never rude. Just not particularly friendly.

To end on a good note: They have a very wide selection for a small market. Many gluten free staples. Lots of variety of each kind of product, and everything you could need including cleaning supplies, pet food, stationary and grilling/fireplace stuff. Grateful that Macs is history, to say the least! The Whitefield market is a huge upgrade. They have a nice fresh Vegetable section, the regular items for everyday are fresh and good quality. Mike has the meat department well stocked and will order literally anything you want or need. They have Select cuts as well as choice. The select is always my choice, its just a better cut, even if it is more money. They carry Hatchland's Dairy products in glass bottles. BRAVO it's not only a MUCH better quality dairy product, it is not in plastic. It is environmentally friendly, no plastic. I do wish they would save more of the "smaller boxes so folks could recycle them instead of those horrid plastic bags... hint, hint, hopefully. I have been in this store more recently and things have been looking up. It's nice to come in and all well almost all the employees have a smile on their faces, are very friendly and assist when you need them. They great you when you come in now and that is awesome. I still wish they had more keto related foods. One that that has gone down hill are the salads it like they don't care like today I went in to grab a salad and it was all brown, the cucumbers only 2 slices in the salad that was made yesterday was all slimy.
