I thought, what the hell ? and gave it five stars because of the coolness factor. Despite the fact that it's a huge 14 story building practically in the middle of nowhere, and damned near everyone in Whittier lives there, it's reputed to be haunted. Enough so for it to make the Top 10 list of the most haunted places in Alaska. As is the entire town. Dilapidated building in this tiny town of Whittier. Pictures on some travel websites glorified this place. It is a residential building where all the Whittier residents live. Some condos are available for guests and they call them "Glacier view suites". While the view are good, you also end up seeing the dirty dock areas down below. Huge building kept very clean by the custodians. Very Ivey outside. Quite a few dogs in this neighborhood they are all better behaved than my own.
