Very happy with my dietician, Nicole Burkhalter. She helped me clarify and set goals, and offers suggestions for getting over roadblocks. Nicole does a great job of presenting information in a way that isn't overwhelming and is focused on where I want to go with my nutrition and long-term wellness. She is personable, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I have learned what to pay attention to, and why, in a way that is sustainable for the rest of my life. So very, very grateful!
Berry Street's app is easy to use. I like that it syncs with my Lose It! app to capture meals. The Berry Street app can stand on its own, too, which is great for people who want a quick way to share their meal information with their dietician (snap a photo or type a description); no calorie counting required. Easy to log water, symptoms, and stool as well. Would be great if it captured weight, BP, and A1 in discrete data fields as well.
The logging function is fast and basic; it's good for accountability and client/provider discussions. Improvement would be the ability to track progress on baseline wellness stats. Right now, you can log or add it to the journal, but there's no easy way to see trends.
Insurance process is so easy! Automatic sync with the Lose It! app is great. Would love it if Berry Street also synced with Fitbit...
