9 pm. It’s late. I finished work and had to pick up a bag of ice for my mom so naturally I went to Sonic. (She says they have the best ice) Anyway, so I’m ordering at the drive thru and I made possibly one of the best decisions of my life. When the kind worker asked if I wanted anything else, I hesitated. To get a fry… or not get a fry… that was the question. I did obviously. I drove up to the window, I got my ice, and then…. I waited. After about 3 minutes time, my lovely small fry was given to me. The moment the bag entered my car, I was already happier. So I drove away, content with my purchase. As one does, I wanted to try them right away. I kid you not it was like fireworks went off as soon as the potato hit my tastebuds. (Funny enough I was actually listening to a song called Taste as I was eating them) But anyway, back to my monologue. The whole way home I only thought one thought: I need to call them and thank them personally for how amazing these fries are. I genuinely felt like an extra year of life was granted to me when I tasted them. I could tell they were a fresh batch right away. So in conclusion, I’d like to thank the staff of Sonic at 47th and Seneca for the stunning, delicious, literally perfect fries that I received the night of November 12th at approximately 8:50 PM. Thank you. I love you. You’re doing amazing. You made my night. :)

Read moreOrdered a garlic butter bacon burger without onions and mayonnaise which normally come on them, through the drive thru, was given a garlic butter bacon burger with onions and mayonnaise. I get it, they probably got in a hurry and made it like normal routine. I went back and explained what happened, the lady remembered me and said she would correct the order. Waited in the line of vehicles, 9 minutes later I got to the window and they tried to charge me for the burger again. I handed the attendant the incorrect burger, he went over and was speaking to someone, 2.8 minutes later he came back and handed me a sack with a burger inside. Before I drove off, I opened the package and the burger was correct except the garlic butter was a huge cold lump in the center, not even close to being melted. I started to point it out but didn't have time to wait another almost 12 minutes. I drove off. When I managed a Sonic just a few blocks north of there in 1977, if an order was messed up, I personally made sure it was corrected and the hand carried it out the the vehicle myself vs making them wait in line again or allowing their order to come after others. Slight room for improvement at this Sonic. I tossed the burger in the trash on my way out of...
Read moreUpdated: Food used to be good but, my most recent visit left a LOT to be desired. It has been a while since I have been to Sonic so there may have been a change that I missed. I used to be able to order a cheeseburger or double cheeseburger with mustard or whatever the other options were. Apparently ketchup and mayo are standard now. Admittedly, I did read this on the menu and figured it was just a typo. When I ordered with mustard it was added to the ketchup and mayo instead of just the mustard. If I wanted a whopper I would have gone to Burger King, their onion rings are better and the meal would have been cheaper. I personally can't stand the taste of ketchup and mayo combined on hamburgers and it makes me feel ill. The reason I don't eat at Burger King and the reason I will only return to Sonic for it's drinks and the only reason it has more than one star.
Previous: Food and drink is good. Recently I had been here and after pressing the button I had been asked to hold and after waiting a while and watching other cars come and go I left without ordering. It was just the one time out of many and I'm sure I will return as I do...
