Stopped in knowing full well that these stores are generally messy and seem to be understaffed. I don’t put much weight to that considering it’s the corporates not helping them out like they should. Today I may have had the worst customer service I have ever had. I picked out some summer clothes on the clearance rack, noticing nothing was clearly marked. As I was checking out with Cedrick, I was paying attention to each item and not buying what was not on clearance. This guy was not helping me whatsoever, literally looking everywhere but at what he should have been doing as I did it for myself. I asked him to help me, he didn’t even respond . I asked him again and he said I am. I’m waiting for you to get the next item. I told him that the last item that scanned correctly was still on the counter, and needed the security tag removed and bagged. I was trying not the come home with one of those things attached, and this guy was not helping at all! He wadded the shirt up, and shoved it in the bag and tossed the bag on the counter. He was mumbling to himself, and I recognized a four letter word. He literally continued to not even pay attention or try to do his job. At that point I asked for his manager, he pointed her out, she walked up and was of no help at all. He started wadding up the next item around the hanger that I had been removing from all of the previous items, and I said hey, can you remove the hanger? She piped in that some items won’t let you remove the hanger. I told her no, I had removed them all just fine. She offered to finish ringing me out. He refused and finished the sale up with a smirk on his face. Nobody recognized that this was pretty bad service, or offered an apology. Just lower the bar to the ground when entering this place. Read moreI stopped into Family Dollar today in Wickenburg to pick up a tote and some soap and some Halloween decorations, I hope I didn't pick up something else also! I followed the rules that were posted outside of the store to wear my mask and did my shopping properly, then I lined up where the dots are on the floor to line up and check out and,,,, lo and behold,,, as I'm beginning to check out a man, a woman, and another man decided they were going to crowd up on me on the wrong side of the checkout line. They were practically right on top of me! The checker at family Dollar did not say a word to them and they weren't wearing masks either! You guys might not care about your health but I care about mine! And if your company doesn't want their patrons to wear masks then don't waste time putting a stinking sign out on your door! I said something to the people,,, I said this is not where the checkout line begins and can y'all not stand up so close to me, but I shouldn't have had to say that,, the cashier should have said the line is over there folks and please space yourself six feet apart like the regulation states. I'm disappointed in Family Dollar and will not be going back there again, I will be selecting Dollar General from now on.
