On March 28, 2024 we had a beautiful Bridgeport dining room table, Madison buffet, and 8 chairs delivered to our home. Total cost $15,664.00. After arriving home from work that day my wife noticed slight damage to the top of the Madison buffet, small in size but likely incurred during shipping. By email we notified Cory shortly thereafter of the damage to the top of the furniture and requested repair. Our email was acknowledged and a "few more pictures" were requested. We sent the pictures on April 4, 2024 and then sent a follow-up email on May 17, 2024 regarding the status of the request for repair. Since then, crickets - no communication. This blemish/indentation is fairly small and should be repairable. We had asked Amish Furniture Store to at least contact the manufacturer and advise on the best way to fill or repair this blemish. We had also requested Amish Furniture Store to template this table for pads. Cory stated it didn't cross his mind before the furniture left the store for delivery and promised to have the templating completed later. No templates completed to date. Read moreUPDATE: Bumping up a star. The furniture arrived and we love it. One chair was damaged on the truck and they arranged for a new one to replace it within the week. The quality is excellent and the colors were as beautiful as we hoped. I guess we just have to accept that covid slowed everything down, but they weren't very good about communicating the delay reality.
ORIGINAL: We ordered poly patio furniture on November 14th. We were told they normally shipped in 8 weeks, but due to covid, they were shipping in 12 weeks. We prepaid for the entire order. Phone to patio store (not find published - had to ask other store for number) rings and rings - no voice mail if he’s with customer. Mike on vacation so called to get an idea when chairs would be delivered. Manager (handles delivery) didn’t ask my name and said we’ll call before delivery. Then tells me needs to be in stock (Mike had confirmed) and then went on about delivery service only part time. So no estimate. Mike back and said this week. They called today and since I wasn’t home during part of delivery time asked to put on back patio. Repeated BACK patio at least twice and he agreed. Just checked - in front lanai - I can’t carry them as heavy but will get help. So spending a lot on nice expensive furniture and delivery ($99) expect...
