Ethan Allen — Local services in Wildwood

5/8/2023 Update: After the review posted in early April (see below), I received a call from Ethan Allen (the next day) plus an email. They corrected the protection plan. I received the table and chairs. I am a satisfied customer at this moment. I wish I hadn’t need to post negative review in order to get a response. BTW, the table and chairs are very nice. It was ordered based on their website and I was not able to see a real table before hand because they don’t have it in the show room. It was based on Ethan Allen’s reputation of good quality US made furnitures. So far, I am pleased. Changed one star to three.

4/11/2024: This is turning into a bad experience. I ordered a dinning room table with 6 chairs. I got convinced to purchase a protective plan. Ten weeks wait to get the table ( hope it is worth it). Then I get a call about my protection plan rep that the plan is only for the chairs. This is so wrong. I distinctively had a talk with my sale designer about protecting the table 🤔. Common sense says protection should be the table . They claimed I signed the contract and need to pay more money for the table coverage instead of changing the plan from chairs to table! I ordered sofa in September of 2024. 6 week wait with $100 delivery charge. The upholstery was done so poorly. The back cushions were attached off center. The arm crinkly and back cushions did not meet the seat, they were attached too high. I reordered as I could not get my money back because I signed a multi page contract that stated I would never be refunded. The second sofa came at the end of March 2025 just approximately 6 months after I purchased. It doesn't really look good either but I cannot deal with this company any longer. Came in today hoping to find some new furniture for me and my finance’s apartment, first two associates were kind (brown/blondish haired lady and brown haired male, both white) but the third was the most miserable, sorry excuse of an employee i have ever interacted with (black haired old white lady with glasses). Not only was I very displeased with her distasteful attitude but because of this I am choosing not to move forward with picking this furniture store.
