Wilkes Community College — Local services in Wilkesboro

Huge stage area and accompanying land/ field area to house large events. Comfortably had 25,000 people present for a concert & down in front of the stage & surrounding activities was fine & not too crowded. Only complaint is parking. We had to walk what seemed like 2 miles (straight up hill) to get back to where we parked the car. They didn't offer shuttles or any type of assistance with getting people back to their vehicles. (&& I was with my 72-year old grandmother & my young daughter trying to haul our lawn chairs, cooler, stroller, ect..) They sure had people spread out all over that entire campus. && Was surprised at the traffic they were funneling down into...

Wilkes Community College is the BEST 2year college in NC! WCC has so much more to offer then all of the other community colleges around here.. WCC Campus sits surrounded completely by mountains & wilderness & it is so beautiful & calming!!
