I went on the Brunch Cruise. The meal was a little less intimate than I expected, as there are 6 to 8 people seated at each of 6 tables (they tell you your table number when you board), but it really wasn't an issue. Food is served buffet style, with servers making your plate as you pick and choose, with tables sent up one at a time. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and you can go back as much as you want. There are pitchers of water and unsweetened iced tea at each table on arrival, and they bring around orange juice and apple juice if you'd like it (all included). They also offer bloody Mary's and mimosas at a cost of $5 each. The mimosa was delicious. After you eat you can roam free around the boat, to the upper deck and all. At one point we went over a sunken barge that they pointed out. The water was very clear so that was pretty cool to see. The staff was incredibly kind and informative and really made the trip even better. The length of the ride was honestly perfect, we ate and sat for the ride down, and then went up and looked around the whole way back. If it were longer I don't think it would add to the experience at all honestly. The view is beautiful. It's definitely an experience worth trying out. And as a bonus, no...

My family paid $125 for a pavilion to have my baby shower and the staff allowed the woman hosting the Steampunk Riverboat Festival (starting at 4pm) to start harassing my friends, family, and I at noon. Four hours before her event was scheduled to start and two hours before the ending rental time we paid for...all because she wanted to set up her event IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BABY SHOWER. The Hiawatha staff allowed her to do this and allowed her to drive her car right up next to the pavilion where we had children playing, and she didn'tpull up slowly. The employee actually told members of my family to calm down and allowed this woman to harass and berate us. The day that my family worked so hard to plan to honor my first baby was ruined by the staff's incompetence and blatant disrespect towards my family and I. I also struggle with fertility issues so this may be the only baby shower I ever get to experience. I honestly with I could give less than 1 star because of how...

Hi! One this fascinating day, the Blue River Soul Band with Karen Meeks performed on the Hiawatha for the Middle Susquehanna River Keeper Assoc and the boat ride was a truely delightful experience I will never forget. The ride, the music, and all the people were so enjoyable. The boat captain was sociable and helpful and shared interesting stories about the boat and the river. The ride was really fun to experience as the band played really fun 1920s music. The riverboat has a very safe feeling, too, very clean, and has a bathroom that is nice, too. To board, there are ramps for accessability and everyone including several elderly people seemed too have a really good time. The ride was scenic and I was impressed how the trip was on time for departure and return. At the pier site, there is a beautiful state park with ample parking. The restrooms were clean and the view of the river is pictureworthy. All around what...
