Conrad's Tire Co — Local services in Williamstown

I have dealt this company for years now and in the past they have been the only place I would have trusted my vehicles to be worked on but the last 3 times I have been there is absolutely been un acceptable. I took my classic car in for a leak in the A/C. The said it was fixed and in a couple of weeks it quit working. Freon leaked out. Then I took one of my trucks in to have the a/c charged. Instead of finding the leak they just shot some freon in and said it was fixed. I could have done that much. Then we were getting ready to go on vacation down south and I took my sons truck in to have an alignment done because it was pulling to the left. After I left and got the truck up on the interstate I noticed that it was still pulling to the left. Instead of going back to Conrads I made an appointment with Bob Sumerel tire to have the alignment checked to see if Conrad had done their job. Sure enough the camber and toe on the driver side wasnt done right. I had Bob Sumerel tire print out a before and after sheet showing the problem. I showed my son the paper and he took it to Conrads and showed Steve and Steve was real rude and beligerent with my son, walked away and told him he could leave now. Had them check my daughter's car for a noise. They diagnosed and advised what they found and the cost, and they could have it done same day. Showed them the estimate from another shop and after the initial laughter, they showed me and confirmed the other estimate was highly over priced and incorrect. Their price was $1300.00 less than the other estimate from a chain store, let's call them "Large O Tires". Conrad's has always been my go to, only got an estimate from another shop because they were literally across the street from my daughters place. While talking to the mechanic, I said "you could have charged me just a bit less than the other place and I'd have been none the wiser". His response was "We don't do that here." We were traveling through the area when a tire shredded on our boat trailer. I called Conrad’s to see if they had a replacement tire. The lady on the phone was so nice and helpful. She even double-checked they had the correct size before we drove there. She let the techs know we were on our way so that when we pulled in they met us in the parking lot. The guys helped us remove the spare, put the new tire on the rim, and helped us put the new tire on. We were done in less than twenty minutes! Everyone was so helpful and friendly.
