Mixed experience. They offered great pricing and beat competitor quotes, but the quality and communication fell short. I was promised a 5-day turnaround, but the first install took over 2 weeks. The countertop had major issues—incorrect cuts left gaps, forcing me to add an unwanted backsplash. They even cut into my wall without permission, leaving damage behind my dishwasher. The peninsula slab install damaged my new trim, and the backsplash had to be redone due to wrong cuts and added seams. Outlet cutouts were also misaligned. Despite raising concerns, their response was dismissive. The owner only acknowledged the issues after I insisted that I was trying to work with them to let fix any damages. They offered a small compensation when their repair plans didn’t work for my schedule. After I worked around there schedule countless of times. I disagreed with their small amount and broke down the cost to fix certain damages as others I had to leave because it was unfixable. I paid for a 3rd slab to ensure vein matching, but they installed one piece with veins going the opposite way. In the end, I was left with damaged drywall, trim, a cabinet holes, misaligned quartz, and unnecessary delays. They eventually agreed to the compensation I was okay with. When I expressed frustration, I was told the damage “won’t be seen.” Very disappointing after investing so much into a kitchen remodel. Although there’s more to this and despite the damages, the countertop installers were nice and polite while inside my home. Alex the owner needs to take a step back and get all the details before calling a customer and immediately giving attitude when his guy Lorenzo was in the wrong with the overall communication and not giving him the full explanation. I can say that lowest price isn’t always the best quality and will rethink when getting anymore...
Read moreHad previously used Granite CountertopPro before for our outdoor kitchen and they had done a nice job. Unfortunately, my most recent project for a fireplace surround with them didn’t go so well. The guy who templated didn’t do a proper template and he didn’t account for some trim at the bottom. So they had to tear out the trim to get the bottom piece in. Secondly, the height of the bottom piece was too high, making the cover of the fireplace difficult to put back on. I had told the measuring guy to leave enough space for that when he templated but he didn’t do a good job. To fix this without telling me their mistake, the guys bent the metal of the fireplace cover to make the cover fit, which ended up stripping the screws of the holder that held the cover in place. I had to spend 2 hours finding makeshift screws to fix the damage, so the heavy cover was safe and wouldn’t fall off on a child or unsuspecting guest. The fact that they damaged my fireplace cover to make up for the poor measuring was highly unethical. Thankfully, it looks ok. We will see if there are long term issues.
Honestly, I’m very disappointed in their work on this and will not use them again. Now I have to call a carpenter and painter again to fix the trim work.
I told the owner all this. He ignored me and never responded with...
Read moreThe entire experience with Granite Countertop Pro INC., was fantastic! Professional, on time and under-budget!! The sales people, (Francis and Carol), were refreshingly NOT high-pressure. They took their time and talked us through the process and helped us narrow the field of color choices. The measurement and installation people were very professional and on time. We were allowed to look at the template and slab and talk to the sales people and the guys who cut the granite to make sure that the color features in the granite would be cut to be prominently displayed in our new kitchen, exactly where we wanted them. The installation was professionally done, flawless, on time, and on budget! My wife and I are overjoyed with the finished product and highly recommend the people at Granite Countertop Pro Inc., to everyone looking for granite! We love our Blue Pearl granite counters...
