The associates. Hands down, the most incredible (& incredibly patient) group of employees I've ever come across. I was there towards the end of the night; it was raining, I was walking in with 2 kids elementary age + 1 infant under 3mo old, and we were on a mission. Theres too many examples to share about each & every encounter we'd had with many different associates, and it actually began outside the store itself, along the side parking lot of building when a male associate on carriage duty showed me kindness & honesty, which I gladly took his advice & got a cart when the kids & I entered store. Thays when the next 2 acts of kindness took place, simultaneously, without being asked, each female associate helped us (the 1st helped us look for a dry cart; the 2nd actually cleared off a cart behind customer service desk area & gave it to us despite whether she needed it or not), and that was just unreal to me, it even surprised my children! Later, my daughter went to scan a huge Lego Brick Storage Container under the price checker & when she struggled with it, a really nice male associate stopped what he was doing to manually scan item himself with his portable price checking gun, & then told me how to reach out for help with the red phone on wall), should I ever need assistance in the future. Last, but not least, the checkout. The female cashier was so unbelievably patient, I couldn't have asked for a better person. But not only that, the cashier next to her stepped over at her own will to scan the big Lego item underneath the carriage so that I wouldnt have to pick it up & my cashier wouldnt have to climb around myself, carriage & my 2 other kids who were each off doing their own thing (ie. driving me nuts with worry). Completely love this location, which is still very new to me, and ikl highly recommend this location to anyone! Thank you to all of those employees (I'm sure they'll know whom each person...
Read moreTypical and looks like every other target. Except today it looks like a total mess. Some shelves half empty others were disorganized. The hardware section shrunk by 75%. There is no indication up front or map telling you where to find different items. I think to failure to put such a map in such a large place his fatal. It's forces you to look and look and look and ask for help from people who do not know where the items were moved.
I feel like this place is going downhill especially so close in the beginning of the school year. I didn't think it was possible that I would ever lower my ratings of this company but after what I saw today, they're disorganization has forced me to lower the ratings especially when you consider the this is the only store it's kind in the area where this placed.
I think somebody management should really look at the disaster that I saw today and get rid of some people and reorganize the entire store to make it more...
Read moreAfter 2 trips to the Lowell Target for an item listed as in stock online that is not actually in store, I was sent to Wilmington Target by corporate since they had plenty in stock. When I got home with my 6 Qt. Instant pot, it was filled with dried on food (like when a dish isn't washed completely). The smell was awful as soon as I unscrewed the lid!! I am NOT happy. Due to a problem with receipts at another store, the receipt Wilmington gave me listed the item as $40 cheaper due to fluctuating prices during the holidays. I now have to wait THREE DAYS for my $40 comp. What am I supposed to do with a dirty, stinky instant pot for 3 days? I am thankful for not having to pay the additional cost but being asked to wait 3 days with nasty item in order to fix their error is ridiculous. All I'm getting from the $40 comp is the money I already spent in the first place.
