Telo Massage Studio — Local services in Wilmington

Booked an appointment for mothers day and ended up having to cancel. The website states that they do refunds but when I tried to cancel it said I would not get my money back. It also stated on the website that they dont charge the card until after the massage but I was charged immediately. I called the place five times, left a message, and emailed but have yet to hear anything. I am now having to go through my bank to cancel the charges. Complete scam save yourself the trouble!! Edit: I did in fact call five times. My main issue was that when I tried to cancel the website said I would not be recieveing a refund Update: Just saw your message. While I appreciate the refund, My mistrust began when I saw that I was immediately charged for two appointments only hours after booking them when your policy states that your only requirement is for a credit card to simply hold my appointment. My bank told me that the full charge went through and it was not just a soft hold. I attempted to cancel the appointments within 12 hours of booking them so there was no reason I should’ve been fully charged when my appointment was two weeks away. Your website and your voicemail indicated that you were open all day until 7 PM so after calling several times, one of which I did leave a message and no response to my email, I began to become suspicious. I tried to cancel the appointment through your website but I was unable to cancel without checking off a box that said I agreed to not getting a refund. I went to an excellent massage therapist for years but she retired. I’ve tried different massage therapists in the New Castle County area attempting to replicate what I was used to. It was very disappointing being underwhelmed by many Wilmington area massage therapists.

Then I had a massage at Telo Massage to help recover faster from a mountain biking accident. I tried to schedule Julie but had to wait too long, so I took a chance and tried the new kid on the block - Leigh.

I figured that Julie would only hire quality help even if new to the field. I am happy to say I was correct. Leigh is excellent and quite conscientious. Just the right amount of pressure, taking care to work around my recently injured back and neck muscles.

It also says a lot by Telo Massage not hiding the fact that Leigh is new. I am definitely signing up for the monthly massage plan as it is an incredible bargain and will request Leigh. The atmosphere and professionalism of this establishment are impressive.

It’s also a different scene from downtown. Parking is easy and there is no dangerous vibe. Can’t wait for...

This is definitely my new spot and I have tried em all. Not only is this place super convenient and close for me to get to, but my experience was PHENOMENAL.

From the minute I walked in, it was a great first impression. Very clean, well decorated and on top of it all Julie was kind and welcoming.

Once the massage began the 5 star review was solidified, lol. I have a hard time finding massage therapists that apply the right amount of pressure, but Julie’s was perfect. She was able to help me relax, but also super strong and able to really press into the knots that I needed more pressure on.

Lastly the room temperature was perfect and that for me was the icing on the cake since I seem to always run on the warm side of things and many places that I’ve gone to are often a bit too hot and uncomfortable for me.
