Food City — Local services in Wilton

All I can say is that personality is lost on some of the staff. I was having a really difficult time at one of the registers and all the cashier could do was grimace and speak to me with sarcasm. Sorry I made your life so difficult for 6 minutes that you couldn't bother being the slightest bit polite. Obviously I was struggling cognitively and it was because of my severe anxiety which l tried laughing and joking through because I didn't think to put my bags up and almost walked out without paying because of how rude she was about it. Then when I caught MYSELF walking out, miss personality decided she would keep on with her atrocious attitude.

Other than that, they always have something you need. But it does always smell like mildew.

Hannaford is like a 7 minute drive. Kinder workers...

Moderate size for the area. Wide selection of all kinds of canned goods. Fruit and veggies were lacking in size and variety, but they were fresh. Meat section was small, but had enough variety to compensate. Deli had its own island, so not much variety to the meats and cheeses. One entire aisle was junk food. Also had sodas and drinks you would find at convenient stores, which isn't common for grocery stores. Their deli made subs tasted good, but it was mostly bread.

Food City is where I go for many reasons. I like the fact I can run out and get great buys on things close to my home . I am in and out quickly , staff is helpful and the store is well managed . I like buying what I need and not over stocking, so I go there often and prices...
