I came here on 2/14/25 for the first time to see the Terri Clark show that I found out about on Facebook events. It’s about an 1:45 minute drive for me and it’s right off of rt 81 so it’s an easy drive. I purchased a general admission ticket online on the day-of the show. There is a big parking lot but I did have an issue with being parked in.
There was a line to get in but it moved pretty quickly. There is a main floor that had some folding chairs for seating which are first come first serve. There is a second level that was for those who bought VIP tickets. I’m assuming there were seats up there. A couple cocktail tables and chairs are on the main floor as well. They have a small snack bar - I got a slice of pizza. It was ok. I was short on time and didn’t stop for dinner on the way. They have a bar with seats at the back of the room behind the folding chairs.
The sound was good and Terri Clark put on a good show. The place was crowded but it wasn’t uncomfortable being in GA for this event. People were dancing and having a good time. They raffled a guitar after the opening band.
Ticket and food/drink prices were very reasonable.
I tried to leave the event at 10:30p before it was over but my car was parked in by another concert-goer. They have a big normal lot that’s shared with some other businesses but that was full and I parked in a big stone lot beyond the normal parking spaces. Luckily I was able to get back into the venue and I just stayed for the duration of the show. I was able to get my car out shortly after the show ended at 11p. If I would go back here again I would go early to get a spot in the area with parking lines and uber to old town for dinner or something. Just be aware that this could happen if you park back there along the fence. Otherwise have...
Read moreUpgrades and numerous improvements warranted for event venue!
As Founder, CEO, Event & Entertainment Director there were many improvements identified indeed for this venue that would have the house filled for EVERY SINGLE EVENT & have its guests leaving 5 out of 5 STAR RATINGS GUARANTEED!
Food selections were not impressive for guests especially for an ELITE VENUE such as this! On a professional level, I believe the venue could have a more strategic marketing & advertising plan with regard to its events and performance line ups.
Significant changes and enhancements are warranted regarding food selections, and seating arrangements, especially with regard for people with disabilities as I did not see many accommodation availability and/or options offered for people with disabilities.
Would welcome the opportunity to professionally work with venue owners such as these to strategize and demonstrate how the venue is able to significantly increase it’s bottom line, increase its ROI, book larger scale artists which will really put the company/venue on the map!
Enjoyed the artists performing here on Valentine’s Day by far showcasing Terri Clark with Chris Darlington opening for her. Chris has performed for one of our events in previous years; however, I had not even seen any advertising about this event or that either of them were performing down here and I follow both of these artist.
In addition, as we drove in there were no signs or information along the interstate on billboards that mentioned the event either plus it would have been much more enjoyable to be able to hear more of Chris Darlington’s own...
