ALDI — Local services in Windsor Township

Was ok, but unfortunately my lunch meat turned slimy & bad a good 3 weeks before the expiration date, even after being stopped I'm a zip lock bag , same with the pack of cheese, which. Got moldy 1 month B4 expiration date! Also be prepared to put everything in your cart and then put everything up on the belt, then put everything on the bagging department, then put everything in the bag, then put everything in your cart yet again! So you're literally lifting everything in and out of your cart many many times and then into your car & then into your home!!! I made the mistake of getting water and other heavier items, SO it's a work out to say the least! U can find some good deals, but then when u subtract what went bad & u had to throw away, actually didn't SAVE ANY MONEY AT ALL!!!! ...

I shop at Aldi regularly. There's some conception that Aldi's is a "discount" grocery store. It's really not.

The vast majority of their products are private label, which is cheaper than national brands. Just like every other grocery store.

Don't get me wrong. You can find things a bit more affordable than these mega stores. Ground chicken, ribs, even eggs are a little cheaper. But when you buy frozen broccoli and think "wow that's cheap" please realize the price per lb (or price per once as Aldi's loves to use) is the same.. the bag is just smaller.

Still check she adds, still shop at Aldi's as well as other stores for the best prices. But there's money to be saved and you're not going to save it by shopping at just one store.

At least Aldi doesn't make you pay for their advertising in...

I've shopped at Aldi since the first one opened in York. This new "local" store on Capehorn Rd isn't as good as the others. My recent purchase of frozen pizza was horrible. I have purchased maybe a thousand frozen pizzas at Aldi over the years and never had an issue before. The recent pizza purchase today wasn't the usual. I'm holding them to their money back promise.
