Excellent selection. Almost always stocked & always fresh. Everything needed for any grocery reason. Usually carry specialty items in almost every dept like no other store does (which is a huge bonus). MOSTLY an excellent staff. Would be 5 Star, but that's where mgmt needs to keep some employees in check regarding respect for customers...whether you "like" them or not. I'll respect the anonymity of the certain employees & avoid any contact with them in the future, but NOT punish the establishment based on an individual's lack of professionalism. I'll leave that to fate for them to put themselves in an unemployment situation. They'll be bound to make that happen & they'll have nobody to blame but themselves.
Other than that, the place is great for either a quick stop OR a huge shopping list.
UPDATE 30th March 2022:
Lost a star tonight. Not the FIRST TIME that I encountered UNPROFESSIONALISM here. Totally put me off to considering a return to this location. I went there at 20 minutes to 9pm. Hours show the store closes at 10pm. Store hours & even what anyone would see shows this location CLOSES AT 10PM. WELL... This "manager" (as it seems it would be) CLOSED THE STORE EARLY WITHOUT ANY ANNOUNCEMENT TO PATRONS...& I ended up waiting in produce for over 20 MINUTES for help & seeing NOBODY THERE. I proceeded to go to the front where this "manager" in question ignored my attempt to find assistance in produce...over an HOUR BEFORE CLOSING. I had my 11 y/o son with me & he can attest to the absurdity. I just left WITHOUT purchasing needed goods & the "manager" says in a snide voice: "Have a nice day" to which I replied: "Yeah...okay...I guess." He was a smug jerk. Mgmt needs to address...
Read moreJust left Weis store. Used the self-checkout. Had not used that type of self checkout before and did not realize the receipt came out past the bagging area. Asked the mature cashier in charge of self checkout for hel, then with an eye roll and a real attitude she told us where the receipt was. This shocked both myself and my husband. Up til this point I liked my shopping experience. She made both my husband and myself feel stupid, because we asked for assistance. Here I was waiting where we paid-because that's generally where a receipt will come out. Assuming the machine might be out of paper, we had summoned help, simply stating that we had not received a receipt. WE ASKED A REASONABLE QUESTION IN A NORMAL TONE OF VOICE. Had we been snotty or demanding, her response may have made some sense....although even then the store employee should answer questions with a professional attitude. Might want to consider training your employees how to treat reasonable customers with respect and preferably kindness. Sadly, Not looking forward to a shopping trip to your store...
Read moreI have been to far better grocery stores. Even the big box stores have a better service than this store.
First off, I was buying wine for the weekend and never in the store (at eye level) was it posted that I had to pay the wine that I am buying at the cafe, not at the usual cashier. I only knew about it when I was ringing it already. The moment I was ringing it at the usual self check out and everything didn't go? That was already too late, ill will was slowly creeping in... duh!
Secondly, at the Cafe, this insensitive associate rung an item twice and never mentioned anything till I ask him about it. Oh wow! Customer service at its best!
What made matters worst? The customer service counter can't do anything, can't do refunds, because there was no manager who could address and assist me with my concern. Really? Seriously?
I really don't think I will recommend this place. It would be so hypocritical... and I would rather go somewhere else.
Good luck, but this place? A simple and...
