Went during lunch and ordered a combo meal to share. In the combo meal, we had sausage, pulled pork, pork ribs, pulled chicken and tri tip for cherry smoked meats. Sides were slaw, baked beans, potato salad and mac and cheese. The meal also comes with buns. The rub seemed present in most of the sides along with the meats and was ok. I was not happy with some meats that were dry - pulled pork, pulled chicken and ribs. This should not happen for any meat served. The sausage (I liked the best) and tri tip were cooked properly. The BBQ sauce was unremarkable. I did enjoy the baked beans - (although a tad too sweet for me) and was able to get all flavors shining through i.e., the beans, bacon, meat chunks, bell pepper, onions and spices. The mac and cheese was also good. The potato salad was ok and the slaw was also ok. The atmosphere is an open barn look with a small bar area and a stage for entertainment. It is clean with a used feel and the staff were friendly and attentive. I do want to add that this was the third time I came for a meal during business hours and the two previous times they were closed. Storefront hours should be predictable and it was disappointing having to try and patronize this business and having to leave. The cost for the meal was a...

The most noteworthy thing about Boss Hogg's BBQ is the gargantuan portion sizes. Unlike literally every other restaurant I've ever been to that serves a sampler platter, Boss Hogg's does not scale down the portion sizes in that sampler platter. You get a full, huge, portion of every item in the sampler platter. A sampler platter will literally feed at least two extremely hungry people, and leave them feeling very full.

I came here to see a band perform, and as a music venue, I've definitely been to better, but I've also been to much worse. There are very few tables that will only accommodate one person, and those are the farthest from the stage. I did inquire about possibly moving closer to the stage, but was denied, in case larger party arrived. This is not a knock against the establishment, as this completely makes sense, but it was a bit frustrating because a four top very close to the stage went unused the...

We had the pleasure of working with Amy and Joel for our wedding catering.

Firstly, the food was PHENOMENAL! The brisket was probably some of the best brisket most of us have had! None of us were expecting honey butter and we were pleasantly surprised to have that alongside the rolls. The potatoe salad was exquisite. It had small chunks of potatoes, and had a perfect dill-y hint. The mac and cheese had multiple people say "This is the best catered mac and cheese I've ever had." I have had a lot of mac and cheese and it's made it's way to my top 5 for sure!

They also went above expectations by helping clear tables as guests finished their meals. Great conversationalists and just a great team to have working such a big day for us. They were both fantastic to work with and we appreciate them for all the hard work. Thanks again to you both for your help on...

Made an audible on the way home from Bandon OR. Saw this place on the map headed north, wanted to give it a try. Best decision of the day. I think my buddy and I were the first in there today, ordered a beer, pondered over their menu, many many times and FINALY made our decision. Buddy went with the half rack of ribs, I did the 3 meats (because I didn't want to miss anything) and my sides were the Corn bread and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was awesome, was not sticky, and very creamy with a small kick to it. The meat.....Incredible. I did not want to use any sauce on it at times because it was cooked so well. Just wish I could of ate more. They also have a pretty good bar and whiskey selection. Great people and incredible food. Make a detour and hit this spot. Just minutes from I-5. It will be a regular for us on the way home from our golf trips.

So I am in this small Washington state town to buy a building for a fresh produce and espresso drive through my business partner and i are setting up in Marysville, WA. So we get the name of a BBQ place to have a quick lubch after we buy the building. Well, i can tell you that this is the BEST BBQ I HAVE HAD North of the Mississippi! I grew up in Texas where BBQ is and i did not expect to find the same flavors, delicate, and just plain amazing and tender BBQ in this small town. But I did. I had the brisket , string beans, and corn muffins to die for! Seriously you should drive from Seattle or Portland to have a BBQ in this amazing place. BOSS HOGGS BBQ I love you!! ❤️

We ordered the "Sampler" and the pulled meats were cold, without flavor and soaked with grease. The meatloaf wasn't a loaf nor was it edible. The green beans were...yep, soaked in grease. The mashed potatoes were instant and the coleslaw was completely lacking in any flavor. We were given tiny plastic forks to scoop up the greasy meats and sides and paper plates to eat from. I've had barbecue from all over the south and throughout Washington. I can honestly say this isn't barbecue and it's certainly not good.
