Read moreThe "kitchen" was about the size of a utility closet with an employees only sign on it but they left it open most of the time. If you look in you'll see a fridge, prep table, and a single toaster oven. There were 4 people at our table and the waitress said she would start bringing our food out as it was prepared. We all got our orders about 10 minutes between each other so to wait for our whole table to be served meant half of our food getting cold. The tortilla chips they serve are "On the boarder" chips from a bag and the jam on their charcuterie board is smuckers brand. It just didn't look good. They had one barmaid for the entire restaurant so she couldn't be behind the bar for those patrons as she was waiting on every table in the place on a Friday night. The food was not great and our appetizer came out as we finished our main courses before we could tell them not to bother anymore. Heads up, they put tiny lights at the bottom of their drinks that are entirely too easy to choke on. It's a fun little flight of drinks you can get but don't expect to taste the alcohol at all and get an abundance of what I assumed was very sweet flavored syrups. The men's room is located in the middle of the restaurant so you have guys getting up and down and swinging the bathroom door open while you are next to it eating. I believe it's one person at a time so there is occasionally a handful of ppl lined up to use it standing next to you. They recommended we put our food orders in shortly because from the looks of it they could only cook 2 things at a time in their toaster oven. Definitely won't be returning and I sincerely hope the owner or some health department comes by to just really see what's up. It just didn't seem professional. Regular drinks were served in solo cups and everything else got cheap plastic scratched up plates or...
Read moreWow! What a treat! First I have to say what a concept! The place is dark like a lounge should be. After a disappointing time at a previous establishment we found this. I guess when one door shuts another opens. I’m happy this is the one that opened. The menu was big but not overwhelming. The coolest part is you can get flights of just about any cocktail. We got a margarita, thanksgiving dessert and Bloody Mary flight. All 3 had 4 different options. All of them were fantastic! You can tell they take it serious. They also serve food. We got a pretzel and a charcuterie plate. The pretzel was AMAZING and HUGE! The charcuterie was ok. I really wasn’t expecting too much for the price. It was generic but good. I could tell everything was fresh atleast. The bathrooms are stand alone with a locking door which I prefer especially in a bar. They were clean and well stocked. Now let’s talk about the staff! Amazing! Very inviting and knowledgeable. That’s all that matters. We planned on just having a couple drinks but stayed for a couple more. I would have liked to taste a bit more vodka in my Bloody Mary but it was still very tasty. Side note they also do coffee in the mornings. With what smelled like a blueberry scone baking for the next morning. Oh yeah…no slot machine yet but...
