Horrible experience. My daughter and two of her friends had an appointment for 6:30 to get a set of acrylics (she was having a set removed and a new one put on). She was taken back first and placed at a nail station. She sat there waiting while her friends were taken back to be worked on, as well as other clients waiting in the salon. After 10 minutes of sitting there, while other clients had a nail tech tending to them, I asked if someone was coming back for her, as if she were forgotten about, which she was. Finally, someone came and started working to remove the set she had in place. I went to my car while the girls were being worked on. After awhile, I could see my daughter's two friends finish up and head to the register so I went back in to check out. My daughter was still having her nails taken off. She was left to soak in acetone for 45 minutes while her nail tech worked on two other clients. She was bounced between all three men working that night. I went over to ask what had happened and why my daughter was neglected and was given excuse after excuse. After my daughter's nails had finally been removed, her nail tech looked at us and said ok all set without having put the new set on. I feel like my daughter was mistreated and neglected for the sake of rushing other clients through, despite having an appointment. No one would take accountability. I'm extremely particular when it comes to my nails, and Dina did an incredible job! I've tried every salon in the area, and I'm still usually unhappy to some extent with my nails, no matter where I go; but this was by far the best manicure I've ever had.

My nails get really weak once my shellac is removed, and I asked her to file and shape them before removing my old shellac, and she did. She took her time making sure the coffin shape was perfect, and got all the cuticle and skin removed from around my nails. I've found that not everyone takes their time doing this, and I'm often left with skin that I still want to/need to remove after my manicure.

The polish application was perfect. I usually have to spend another hour or so after getting my nails done, removing all the built-up polish that accumulated in my nail bed/sides of my nails, under my nails etc. But not this time! Finally! This photo was taken immediately after leaving the salon, without me needing to do any fixing, whatsoever!

She also applied 2 coats of the glitter without me having to ask, which I deeply appreciate. I often have to ask for more coats of things when the coverage isn't what I want it to be, and I feel like I get attitude from nail technicians in general when I do this - but Dina applied 2 coats automatically, without me needing to ask her to do so.

Omg!!! Where do I start? First of all I’m visiting from Minnesota and I wasn’t sure where to go, but I decided on Alena in Wixom,MI, let me tell you about the very kind folks there, 1. The young lady that answered the phone and greeted me when I came in was so warm and welcoming! 2. Jason, my nail tech for my pedicure, such a sweet young man and great attention to detail, I had a short skirt on and he placed a towel over my legs to keep me modest, didn’t even ask him (❤️). I got the Deluxe Pedi and it was the best pedi I have ever had. Soak, Scrub, Massage feet and legs, and lotion and hot stones, he even cracked my toes, sooo good! He did an amazing job from start to finish ( I’m coming back when I am in town again) 3. A friend of theirs from Vegas, Brian, what a delightful pleasure to chat with him. My overall experience was unbelievably amazing and I just had to make this review, which I don’t do at all but felt this was needed to let others know. Thank you Jason!!...
