I felt compelled to write a review following a previous comment that I believe to be completely inaccurate and unfair. Yes, High Cotton is located in an old building that has no heat/air. However, the owner goes to great length to attempt to make as comfortable as possible year round with fans/heaters. The old building adds to the charm and overall experience of shopping for antiques. The building itself is very clean. Yes, I bumped up against or picked up a few items that might have had a bit of dirt/dust, but one must remember- these things are old. This is a large area with numerous vendors, all chocked full of treasures; including small items as well as furniture. The owner is extremely helpful, and any item we asked about, she was able to give the lowest dollar amount each booth owner would accept. This is now my GO-TO place to place to find all the special hidden treasures ! High Cotton is high quality with very reasonable prices. Since there are multiple suppliers/vendors, each day is different. I live almost an hour away, yet will visit frequently because I know the drive is well worth it. I am very picky and was looking for dinning room chairs with an European feel. I had looked at various stores with no luck. My wife and I visited this hidden gem over the weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The inventory is top notch and leans heavy on the antique side which is perfect for us. The staff was great and we were asked several times if we needed help.
