The Chicken Shack — Restaurant in Woodbury

Two stars because the service was decent but the food....not at all. We got two 5 piece tender meals. The chicken tenders are so tiny. There is more in 2 chicken nuggets than one of these little tenders. They we cooked ok. Not overly dry or undercooked like a lot of reviews have said but the batter just taste like oily flour and not it's nit worth the price for sure. Also the fries were cold and half were soggy and the other half were rock hard. The ranch is really watered down. This was our first visit and our last. We'll just drive a bit further to Manchester and get Butcher Block...

The food is 🔥 (update) 1/27/21 We eat here every Wednesday night as long as we are in town.. Chicken is cooked to perfection, tenders are juicy, catfish is cooked to perfection. Hot wings are great. Slaw dog, hamburger, I never got anything that wasn't delicious. I love this place been eating here 4 years now. Only problem they messed up my order I think 3 X's in all the years, but they made it right next time we came. Can't say enough good about this little place wish I could leave 5 🌟 again I would. The young lady that took my order was very cute an d friendly as well, I had the five piece chicken strip meal the fries was very good and you really don't get good fries anymore but I have to say I would make a meal just out of the fries. The chicken strips was good to i am full now, oh I had a sweet tea to it was good to. So to the Chicken Shack Thank you for the great food and it was my first time eating there to. I would come back again the next time I am working in this area again...
