Used to go in here whenever the need arose (parties, events or just a good ol Friday night). Will never go back. There is a nasty blonde woman who was improperly trained and maybe the liquor board should visit. Acceptable forms of ID in the state of Maryland is government issued ID such as Drivers license, state ID card, Military ID, Passport, and immigration card ID. How can you employ someone who doesn't know the law? I questioned why she would not accept a passport and she told me its the law. Its not, checked with liquor board. Then when I questioned her, she told me to get out and refused service. Great job. If you are just buying beer, go to trouts. Its cheaper anyways. If you need liquor, go to walkersville. Thankfully I didn’t go into this “establishment” with my husband, a marine veteran, when this occurred today, but the woman working the register (who was barefoot, mind you) turned him away because he was carrying both his current ID and his previous ID. She made creepy, lewd comments about his appearance while also throwing shade at his military tattoos. Even though it's small, it's still reasonably priced. It's a family-run business, one of the ones that I love to take my business to. The owner works hard as do the other couple people that work there. They're open good hours and G there are a hundred yards away so there's convenient as all get out.
