I thought a lot about leaving this comment because I don't want to hurt the lady who helped me today, but at the same time I am so disappointed, so sad, I still can't believe it. Today I went to get my eyebrows waxed, it was just a cleaning of the extra hairs, it's my second time going and the same lady helped me as the first time. It turns out that I like them, I love my eyebrows because they are thick and have a lot of hair and the first thing I asked her was to be careful because I like my eyebrows and I didn't want her to change ANYTHING about the shape. I felt like she was taking too long and I told her again that it was just a cleaning and that I like my thick eyebrows, she responded with only two syllables Aha; When she finished and passed me the mirror I realized the WORST! SHE PULLED HALF OF MY EYEBROWS, CHANGED THE ENTIRE SHAPE OF MY EYEBROW, ONE IS LONGER THAN THE OTHER. MY DESPERATION OF WANTING TO CRY and TELL HER WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, you screwed up my eyebrows. I told her repeatedly how I wanted them. She responds to me in two weeks they will grow and I won't charge you. The point is not to give me $15 for a poorly done job, I look in the mirror and it's not me. What I don't know and is for the OWNER OF THE PLACE, you have to train your employees to COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS, the lady I don't know if she speaks English, Spanish, I don't know because she always responded with syllables. Now she ruined my eyebrows, she shapes them, it has nothing to do with the shape of my face. I TELL THE OWNER WHAT DO I DO NOW MA'AM?? I'm looking for an eyebrow serum to use and help me with the process of recovering my eyebrows. I'm giving you my recommendation so you can buy it for me. Recently relocated and decided to try this spot out because they had pretty good reviews.I did go in as a walk-in & Upon arrival the receptionist was very nice. Other employees came out to the receptionist area and they began to converse in their European language. I understand that everyone who works there is European but it’s very rude & unprofessional especially when the & majority of their clients speak English. I proceed to go to the back with the next available person for a full body wax (legs,Brazillian,underarms & lips). The process was pretty good not as painful as expected since I hadn’t been waxed in a while. The employee was not very talkative or friendly it seemed like she did not want to be there. It’s very important to me to have someone that can make you feel comfortable or at least take your mind off of things at such a vulnerable moment. I did not get my lip waxed b/c I already had it done and still had to pay the full price.When she was done,I was pleased with how it turned out however a week later my hair started to grow back faster than my normal wax. For reference I am African American so my hair is coarser.I’m pretty sure it was the wax she used that irritated my skin or her technique. I had red irritation bumps and ingrown hairs that I never get from getting a wax! The price is affordable but quality is more important I WILL NOT...

Ladies (and gentlemen) be careful wherever you choose to get your waxing done. Grossness ahead....... I was diagnosed with a vulvar fungal infection last week by my gynecologist. This is the SECOND time in a row this has happened here. The first time I developed symptoms a few days after waxing, I waited and waited, thinking I just had some irritation. Weeks later, I couldn't ignore it anymore and got to the Minute Clinic where I was prescribed Diflucan after describing the issues. After about 6 weeks and no more infection, I returned to this location for my usual Brazilian. Two days later, the same exact symptoms came back. Unbearable external itching and discomfort. I hightailed it to my gynecologist where he diagnosed the issue as an external fungal infection, likely due to the waxing and NOT a yeast infection.

Other than something obviously unkosher going on here, this place is fine. The service is fine usually. No complaints. I'm not looking for a best friend when I go for a wax, so I'm not terribly bothered by a neutral customer service experience. I do expect to walk away WITHOUT being exposed to fungus.
