The owner of this restaurant is exceptionally hostile. Our family orders this every year on Christmas Eve as our family tradition (they live in Towne Lake). Tonight we had a craving up in Canton and ordered through GrubHub. An hour after our order was placed, the restaurant canceled the order, reason stating that they were out of an item we ordered. We called to see if we could change the out of stock item to something else, and was met with surprising animosity. She actually hung up on me, blaming GrubHub. I called back hoping to place an order for pick up, and she answered in the same accusatory manner preciously. GrubHub had already refunded us. This is not a local business worth supporting as they do not value the customer. They have closed their dine in business to save labor $ and care exceptionally little about the community that keeps them in business. I encourage anyone looking for good food, good prices and excellent service to patronize Volcano Steak and Sushi or Izumi Asian Bistro, both very close in proximity and MILES better on literally...
Read more2 stars bc my experience with peking tokyo up until now has been great, but after what i just received i cant say there will be a next time. i ordered sushi from their website, which is completely devoid of descriptions so i was going off of what rolls by these names USUALLY are. so sure enough when my order arrived, one of the rolls was something entirely different than i expected that i didnt even want. huge waste of money; its not that hard to either put descriptions or be consistent with other restaurants. they called me shortly after i placed my order and said they were out of flying fish eggs and asked if smelt eggs were okay. i appreciated this and said that was fine, but the nigiri I receive was soggy and poorly put together so i could barely eat it. even the spider roll, which is usually great, was disappointing. oh, and for the cherry on top... or should i say shrimp head on top... see my attached image. listen, im not squeamish, but nothing i ordered even had...

However when I called to get an update the person who answered the phone first didn’t say hello, could just hear her talking in the background about how she doesn’t want to talk on the phone and about her blood pressure getting high. When she finally actually spoke to me she couldn’t give me any status on my order and just yelled back to the kitchen about it then immediately said they didn’t answer her. She said something about they canceled their DoorDash orders to serve their other customers, this wasn’t even a DoorDash order and am I not a paying customer? She then rattled off a phone number to the driver for me to call to get a status and hung up on me before I could write it down. This was an insane experience. Either my order has gone out or it hasn’t. A simple answer yes or no would have been fine. Now I have to figure out how to get my money refunded as the food...
