I am sorry to give a low rating to this place.
On 8/21/2022 came in with 9 people and asked for Extreme BandG with two eggs over EASY. It is clearly stated on my order 11248426. The eggs were like hockey pucks they were so hard.
On 8/27/2022 came back in. Order number 11299512. Ordered Extreme B&G again. Order came out without the Maple Sausage meatball. Went to counter and the young man who “helped” us said, “the order did not specify the Meatball”. WHAT??? It is listed on the menu as included. So after discussing it he picks up a sausage meatball in his gloved hand and gives it to me. I return to my table only to notice that the gravy was sausage and not the Mushroom/ veggie as ordered. Same person “helped me”. Instead of a full container of mushroom gravy we get a scant less than half container. The sausage gravy container we returned was full??? When your representative came over again asking how we were we said that there were two problems with our order. His comment was “well as you can see we are very busy “… and he walked away.
Not sure what happened to the mushroom gravy but instead of nice small pieces of mushroom evenly combined throughout the gravy, there were just a couple large chunks. It was definitely NOT what it has been in the past. Is this what we should expect in the future??? If so we won’t be back.
My coffee was full of grounds. I will try to attach a picture of a few of the grounds. Most of the were stuck to the side of the paper cup.
Three issues with meals over a week tells me that management or something else has changed.
Also, in the past you proudly announced/posted that you didn’t request tips because you paid your employees a living wage. The last two visits had a screen that suggested 10% or more added in tips.
So did you stop paying a living wage or did you decide to ask for tips anyway??? Training is obviously needed. Won’t be...
Read moreI head about Maple Street through a passing conversation with a friend who said that they have over the top biscuits and waffles, also catering to vegetarians. I was intrigued being a vegetarian. Coinsidently, my friend and I were in the area and we decided to hop on over to the restaurant for bunch today. When we went over to this establishment, it was packed, of course it was going to be busy we knew because 1) Saturday morning 2) Father's Day weekend 3) breakfast/brunch. We didn't mind waiting for a bit, but we never expected to wait over an hour for 2 vegetarian biscuits which tasted God awful. They were focusing so much on making the chicken biscuits which looked enticing and elaborate waffles, that they left the vegetarian menu items to the back burner it seemed. There should have been absolutely no reason that it should take over an hour for a biscuit with Spinach and goat cheese only. When we got the biscuits we were just ready to go. The biscuits crumbled over. We took one bite and it tasted frozen in the middle - soggy-like spinach. It was disgusting. The only good thing was the coffee hence the 2 stars. I heard so many people who were waiting for their food say that other locations weren't like this, that they got their food within 5 minutes or so. I'm sure the employed were overwhelmed, but that doesn't condone 20+ customers waiting for food and only one or two coming out at a time. I'm not sure if this is a new establishment, maybe that's why? Regardless, I most likely will not...
Read moreLast trip was disappointing. Biscuits too thick and too small in circumference. They need a wider biscuit to not let everything slip out and keep the structural integrity of both the top and bottom of the biscuit. (See Bojangles as an example of proper biscuit to topping ratio.)
Then, let’s talk about cold cheese slices that weren’t melted and the entire thing was smothered in ice cold apple butter, which in turn made the fried chicken and bacon cold. No one needs that much apple butter on a biscuit, guys. Up until that moment in my life, I had never been served apple butter that wasn’t warm. It was like eating toaster strudel if your toaster broke and all you could do was stuff the cold, sad pastry into your mouth and go on with your day.
Finally, it took forever to get my iced mocha maple made. The guy (who was supposed to be acting as a barista) left the cashier to handle it, despite her being busy taking orders. He just listlessly stood at the pickup end of the counter, chatting to his coworkers as they passed by him. When I asked if he could check on my coffee because my food was up, he just brushed it off like it was the cashier’s fault and he had zero intention of helping. I finally got my drink halfway into eating my fully chilled farmer’s biscuit.
I actually prefer ordering to go here, because they make sure your biscuit actually comes out hot, the apple butter is on the side, and your coffee is up when...
