Woodstock Drugs — Local services in Woodstock

I used this pharmacy to get medications filled several times. It just wasn't convenient for me because they close at 5:30 during the week, at noon on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. I work in Birmingham and often wasn't able to go when they were open. I had to stop going at all when they stopped having my medication in stock. I had to get my medication filled with a pharmacy that had it. I found out today that the pharmacy I've been using is closing and would not be ordering any more of the medications and the one I take isn't in stock. I called Woodstock Drugs to see if they had it. I was rudely informed that they wouldn't fill it for me because I am not a "customer" and they won't fill a controlled substance for me, also the last time I had a prescription filled there was November 2022. That's probably correct because every time I've gone to have it filled, they have been out of it. Can't get something they don't have. I eventually stopped calling and asking. I am a government employee with a masters degree, and not some backwoods crackhead trying to get a fix. I don't appreciate these a$$holes speaking to me like that. It's rude, disrespectful and a sure fire way to make sure my family members are no longer going to be customers either. I've never heard of a pharmacy acting that way. I've shopped there a lot for OTC stuff but...

Today was the last straw for me unfortunately and it led me to write this review. Over the course of the last few months in dealing with this pharmacy I’ve had to tolerate rude snarky remarks about me, my health or really anything they could say something about. Example: when I was pregnant I had pregnancy Medicaid which is supposed to cover all medications. I also have asthma and need an inhaler. I went to pick up my inhaler and was informed I had to pay a fee. I said something about the pregnancy Medicaid and I was told that my pregnancy didn’t cause my asthma so I had to pay. It was a misunderstanding in the end by me and the pharmacy but the comment was rude and unnecessary. Today I went to pay for my medication and I told them I had a tap pay on my phone and the woman in the window said the register she was using didn’t have that. I said ok I have a card but as I was saying this she was actively shutting the window. When I said I had the card she said “yeah that would be the way to go” and to me the way it was said was snarky and rude. I hope they take this review as some constructive criticism and use it to fix things. I am not the only person that has had this problem with this pharmacy but i hope...

I have tried to give this place a chance many times, and even just today they forgot to fill my prescriptions and had me waiting, again. in the past they forgot my partners pain meds after surgery, got my prescriptions wrong or just didn't fill them until i was standing right there. do not go...
