DO NOT GO TO iFixandRepair to fix your phone!! You would expect that given the name of this place, they'd be able to solve your problem, but they are incapable of doing so. I went to get my iPhone screen replaced and after 15 minutes, they said that they had fixed it. However, I tested it out and realized that the screen was glitchy and that when I swiped left or right, there would be a severe lag. I told them of the issue and they said that this has to do with the screen and that it cannot be perfect because the screen is not an Apple screen. So essentially, the screen they gave me was a cheap knock-off screen that doesn't work. Of course, I was angry and asked them to fix this issue or else I would not pay. They tried with a different screen and this time, there was not only a lag, but you could not take selfies without the screen being black and you couldn't click on apps. It was complete trash, so I had to have my old cracked screen put back on. Then, they said that I still have to pay for their services, even though they weren't able to fix my problem. They said that I needed to pay a $50 service price because they had made an effort to solve my problem; apparently, it's not their problem that I wasn't happy with their terrible service and inability to fix my issues. This place is a scam and I would not recommend going here. You will be disappointed like myself and still be forced to pay $50, despite wasting your own time and not getting the...
Read moreBought an iPhone 6s from this location. They have a sign saying, "No cash refunds, exchange or store credit only." I went to return the phone to redeem store credit, and the associate refused to take the phone in return for store credit. He said their policy does not apply to the phones. This was never mentioned during the purchase process, and he said that was because I didn't ask.
This is a direct violation of Massachusetts Consumer Protection law, Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A, in which it states, "...a store can have any return policy they want so long as it is clearly disclosed somewhere in the store and you have a chance to read it before buying your product." This business violated their own return policy. I asked what we could do to reach some sort of agreement, and the associate said he couldn't do anything even after I showed him the specific law. He even called his manager who refused to honor the policy.
Furthermore, the employee at the desk started yelling at me when I took this picture as proof. He said that I wasn't allowed to take pictures and demanded that I delete it. He was completely unprofessional. Unfortunately, since they refused to even attempt to resolve the issue, I will have to handle this matter through alternative...
Read moreOwner installs iPhone digitizer and screen at a cheap price but the screen he replaces it with is of the cheapest quality. I had him replace it twice within a month and the next time I had my screen break from literally a 10inch fall I confronted him and he closed shop and we called police.
It's a scam essentially, his prices are low but the bits he uses to repair are of the lowest quality. This man has $320 of mine in the last month with no type of warantee. I have receipts of everything. I depend on my phone and I can't afford to pay another $150 to fix my phone right now. Nothing would please me more than to put this man out of business.
EDIT; He is not open for a half hour to 45minute window of his posted operating hours. Also my father tried to reconcile with the store owner after I posted this and he replaced the screen yet again at a discounted price with a higher caliber screen and screen protector and the screen broke again after about 10 days. I never dropped it, I literally have videos and pictures of the screen as it was dying. It looked like an ink spot that started small and expanded until the phone shut off. ZERO cracks or scratches. This is the third screen of his I've had crack in a month period...
