After my original review below, I was contacted by the manager, Santina, who worked to correct some of the issues we were facing. She eventually handed our interment over to Josephine who helped make everything come to fruition as we'd originally hoped. Luckily my mom had saved all the original paperwork for the plots. I'm sorry for the headache at the start of this, particularly given the amount of grief my family and I were already experiencing, but grateful that the staff here went out of their way to make it right. MANY thanks to Josephine for being there throughout and keeping me updated on everything, including helping get the gravestone rushed and placed in time for our Celebration of Life on my mom's birthday. You helped turn this around, thank you!
Absolute TERRIBLE communication. The original quote to inter my mother's ashes (2k) jumped to over 7k when it came time to draft the contract, and adding an additional surprise fee of over $1600 to inter the ashes on a Saturday (her birthday). The staff I was working with was well aware of all these details and did not mention the various additional costs until it came time to draw up a contract. Read moreI would give this business zero stars if I could. Had my grandmother buried there and paid for tombstone inscription and it was never done. Paid for the service November 2022 and as of today, December 2023, it still hasn't been done. The director, Ms. Nowak, will not return my emails or voice-mails. I live out of state and I feel they are taking advantage of that. I was told it would be done this spring, in time for her internment, but it was not done. They wouldn't lift a finger before getting paid and now that they have my money, I get ignored. I really hate that my family it's resting in a place that treats people who are in such a vulnerable time in their life with disregard and...
Read moreMy mom is buried at Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, IL. I signed up for the Flower Program due to I don't live in Chicago and wanted my mom to have flowers on her grave. Each year I have a problem with the program. I want to recognize Karen Voustros for always going over and beyond to help get me answers. She personally takes the flowers to my mom's grave and makes sure I get a photo. Her willingness to be so kind to do that for our family really touches my heart. Kudos to Karen Voustros for your kindness and willingness to always help. It's hard to find great customer service today, but Karen shows it's still people who cares about the customer and shows in her action....
