ORIGINAL REVIEW: Our go to spot. Nice staff and selection. UPDATED REVIEW: As of tonight, my review has gone from our regular 5 star service to 1 star. While they always have the best products in stock and shelved, the customer service was by far the worse. The floor associates were great, as usual. The check out is where we had an issue. Every line was occupied, so when this caucasian short blonde literally ran over to our line, I was stunned. She then tells the cashier that she needs to see my husband's ID (a for real grown man, that does not look under 35). I then informed them both that I was paying for the items and handed the cashier my ID. The lady then says, we both touched the liquor, so they need both of our ID's. Now, I was not touching any of the bottles because he was there lifting and sorting as he placed the items on the counter. If the issue was the liquor being touched, then he should've been asked to pay for it. Anyway he gave the cashier his ID as well. I told him we should just leave all if it and go elsewhere because I was not comfortable with their approach. Because this is our local Binnys we frequent this location AT LEAST once a week and for all of the events that we host. When I told my husband that we should leave , guess what, the cashier still continued running her mouth about the ID's. I told her to please just ring the items up and box them so we could leave. We have never had an issue like this before, there were not any signs stating the policies around touching liquor. The swift run towards our line made me question the real reason behind the interaction in the first place. During prior visits other associates have created positive and memorable experiences here. The next time I have an event that requires purchasing an extensive list of spirits, I will consider...

I’ve been a loyal customer at this Binny’s location for a long time and have always used my valid law enforcement credentials to receive the standard discount. During my most recent visit, I was treated with blatant disrespect.
I went to checkout and the cashier called the manager for the first responders discount. The manager did not only deny my police credentials, which have always been accepted in the past, but he inspected them as if they were fake.i did not catch his name or the cashier, but they were both White. From the moment I entered the store, I felt watched and profiled. I’m sure it’s because I’m a person of color and was carrying a large purse. The way I was stared down and treated was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
No one, especially a public servant who supports the community, should be treated with suspicion and disregard. I walked out feeling disrespected and humiliated.
I do not normally write lengthy reviews but this experience was awful and customers deserve to be treated with basic respect. Binny’s needs to address how their employees handle both discount policies and customer interactions. Especially when it comes to implicit bias and profiling.
I’ve also reached out to corporate directly and filed a formal complaint with the Better...
Read moreI really like this Binny's location, but I'm really disappointed in my experience today. I went there to pick up two bottles of champagne because I wanted to make mimosas for some friends who were coming by for brunch. I asked a man there who appeared to be a manager (he was in a button up instead of the Binny's uniform) for a particular bottle of champagne. His demeanor was a bit off, as if he was not in the best mood, so it seemed like I was bothering him. He told me that particular brand was in the back and he went to get it. I decided to walk closer to the area he went so he wouldn't have to walk all the way back. When he comes back out I start to walk toward him to meet him. We get within 5 or 6 feet of each other and instead of handing me the bottles he sits them down on a random box and says "Im going to set these here." He then walks past me. I was really confused because I couldn't understand why he wouldn't hand them to me. I didn't want to jump to conclusions and think it was a race thing (I'm black and he's white). I didn't want to think he just didn't want to interact with me or chance accidentally touching me. So I asked another worker in the store and they confirmed that this happens alot to people of my color when dealing with the managers there. That's really disappointing and I didn't expect it. I don't know for sure if I want to continue to patronize...
