I don’t see how this place can last. If there are staff there then they are both on the computer all the time. What could be so important online? Two people eternally behind the computer. I regularly tell whoever is there that a few pieces of equipment are coming apart. Following week and nothing has been done. I tighten screws on the back extension every single time I go in for the past few years. Other equipment needs repair and maintenance but they are too busy on the computer. Leg extension is coming apart (I used to own a gym) so I tell them exactly how to fix it. Following week it’s falling apart again! One set screw people! One. Set. Screw. The people behind the desk LOOK like they work out but if you work there and workout there, how can you be oblivious to the repairs and maintenance needed on the very equipment you use? As a highly mechanical person, I just get frustrated when I’m in there. Also, I avoid going in the evenings like the plague. High school kids, 4 to a group, sitting on the equipment, scrolling on their phones between sets for 10 minutes. And, ya know what… enough with the gum all over the sidewalk out front. Read morePretty mediocre gym tbh, small, dirty, smelly carpet, bars always have dirty grime on them that they never wipe or clean. The employees are always vacuuming as if that does anything when the real grime is on the equipment and benches. If you need help w something the staff is always busy w something or someone else. You can tell by the old, broken and used up equipment that they got it from a high school auction.
$30/mo is what a premium gym like Vasa or The Edge charges and yet it feels like a cheap cookie cutter gym with bad equipment, misaligned moldings, stinky carpet, theres a big hump on the floor.
Oh and if you try to cancel your membership online, you get the runaround. You can sign up and pay all online without speaking to someone, you even gain access through the doors to the physical gym online via app without having to speak to someone....but if you want to cancel, you have to dig around the website and the site takes you to planet fitness login page....🥴🥴🥴 you have to...

I was lied to by the staff who said all you have to do is cancel the current account and re-sign up for the cheaper one and there wont be any extra fees. They lied and of course never stopped the multiple gym payment on my cc and also charged me another yearly fee of $30 when I just paid it in April. I called b/c there wasnt a credit on my card like they promised, and the general manager told me that he wont remove the yearly fee that I already paid and he is double charging me b/c I'm the one who wants to downgrade.
