I want to say thank you and how great the owner of the Ace Hardware in Payless was to me I bought a brand new Weber 330 gas grill and then exchanged a gas tank at Menards so I had a clean gas tank to put in LP gas. Well, I hooked up the tank I got from Menards and it leaked. I thought it was the hose on my new Weber so I called and a gentleman told me it’d be a while and I told him I really wanted to get it done so he said let me see what I can do. That being said got a text from Bob Ace Hardware telling me Dan the owner would be by within an hour, Dan came to my house, changed the hose and hook the tank up. It’s still leak a little bit. Turns out the tank I exchanged at Menards had a bad seal. That being said Dan also brought a 20 gallon LP gas tank with him. He got it put it in and everything was fine so I was able to use My girl now. First place the problem was not with the Weber grill. It was with the tank from an act that didn’t matter to Dan. He changed the hose, put his tank on and fixed my problem. Then I thought I’d have to go back to Menards get the tank replaced But no, Dan told me if you could just bring that tank back to our store at your convenience. I will take care of it from there. So if anybody thinks that the owners of the Ace Hardware are just guys it, sit around and tell other people what to do they’re wrong at least in The owner Dan is out every day, helping out, making sure customers are satisfied I could not be happier than I am purchasing my Weber girl from Ace in Payless. I ordered online with the website stating my order would be ready as soon as today, two days later my order has not been prepared or ready, so of course I call and ask if it will be ready soon or if I can come take it off the shelf. With no help over the phone, they tell me it is processing and to be patient, of course I have been patient I have waited two days already. So then I decide to just go into the store and take it off the shelf, and ask to process the order and mark as picked up. They tell me I have to pay for it again and go online to get a refund when I am at the exact store I payed to pick it up at. They offered me no help and did not even try to fix my problem or even say sorry for the wait. Bob was the manager on duty and he was no help and rude. I asked an older gentlemen if they have it, he just directed me to where it should be. I walked over there and nothing went back to ask for further assistance. He just told me if it’s not on the shelf we don’t have it and he ended the conversation there. I even showed him the app and had the item number too, he didn’t even bother to check his system to see if he had it. Went to another ace hardware, they didn’t have it on the shelf but they offered to look in the system with the item number I had. They had the product in the back and brought it out.
