My truck broke down, I had it towed To Beeline. I had been at this location previously under different ownership years ago. I received my car back within two days. Everything seems to be working great, I did get to meet three people working there. The owner and I had a wonderful conversation unrelated to automotive talk. The two mechanics I’ve met, seemed more knowledgeable than techs at the dealership who could not figure anything out or care.
The two tech I talked to were extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and nice to converse with. The owner and I talked for about 45 minutes while he was handling other business, it was just a pleasure conversing with him. Also, They have a Refrigerator filled with different drinks and some snacks to choose from a nice lobby to sit in while you wait for your car if need be.
After my truck was fixed, I received a nice layout online of possible other problems with my vehicle. They laid out the pricing in a way that I can understand by itemizing what needed to be done
In fact, I decided to have them do extra work to my truck at a later time as they are currently ordering parts to have it fixed. I have no relation to these guys and never met them prior to, but I would highly recommend them. I’ve always had a problem with trust, especially with mechanics, or any auto shops for that matter, But I felt very comfortable here, I thought these guys were really cool.
Depending on what you need done I think these guys could do it all. I found them to be honest, trustworthy, and dependable and very Knowledgeable.
Thanks again for finally being able to discover the problems I’ve been having...
Read moreI had a really interesting experience at Lenfer Automotive & Transmission in Wyoming, MN this afternoon. We recently purchased a used car for our son and had the car to another nearby reputable shop for a check out and some known work that needed to be done including (2) new front tie rods. In all, we spent about $1,000 for the work that was done and the shop suggested we take it somewhere to get an alignment as they don't have an alignment rack. I proceeded to make an appointment at Lenfer's and brought the car in this afternoon, they put it on the rack for about 10 minutes and came out and said that it needed more front end work and would cost about $1,000. Not expecting this, I wanted to check things out further, talk to my son (who's ultimately paying the bill) and have my regular shop just confirm that maybe they missed this before proceeding. Lenfer's took the car off the rack and told me that since I wasn't doing the work that it would $50 for their time to look at it which is fine since they did have some time into looking at it, but then when I asked if they would apply the $50 as a credit should I decided to do the work with them, they said no if it's not done now you're out. At the end of the day, $50 isn't much, but I felt like I was being pressured and hustled into spending $1,000 on the spot. The experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will be curious to hear what the shop I take it to tomorrow says. I'm not saying that it doesn't need the work or that the price was off until I do some more homework, but the high pressure game was a massive turnoff and will not be back. You got my $50,...
Read moreI usually don't review places but the experience I had at Bee Line is well worth letting people know about! I wish I could give Bee Line a thousand stars! I found myself in Wyoming, MN picking up some things for my newly born son (4 weeks) with my 2 year old daughter and my 4 year old son. On my way back to the cities, my tire had burst and I was without a jack!! So I walked to the nearest auto store and they told me this Auto Repair Shop would likely come to help, and that's exactly what they did! A very nice lady named Sarah came and tried to fill my tire but it was done for!! She went back to the shop and got someone to put on a dummy and I was to follow them back to the shop! Soon as we got there, she offered my 2 and 4 year old some girl scout cookies and offered me some awesome conversation!!! Very welcoming for a city girl like me in a very small town! The situation that could have been extremely stressful for a single mother of 3, in the middle of no where, turned out to be quit a pleasant afternoon with some extremely nice people!! I love to see a shop that GENUINELY care about their customers so I will definitely be making that trip to Bee Line when I need auto repair. I hope to see these guys grow...
