The Classic Cupcake — Local services in Yorba Linda

When i found out that this Cupcake shop was opening in our city next to Blue scoop. I was super ecstatic to hear. First time hearing about The Classic Cupcake was when i was in line for Enchanted coffee bar in Brea. A really pretty mom & her daughter was in the line in front of mee. Her daughter was cute. We started a conversation and I'm a cupcake fanatic. Told her Hapa cupcakes a few doors down has one of the best cupcakes in town. I'm a huge fan. When she found out i was from Yorba Linda. Told mee that The Classic Cupcake is opening next to Blue scoop soon. So i need to check it out. The owner does cupcake catering from her residence and finally opening her own shop. Than a month later I saw the sign go up on the suite/building and I was super stoked!

WeLp today It' finally opened. Came Here for the Grand opening Day w a mama friend Vennicia 10.02.25 They did soft opening on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Came in the morning at 10 a.m. and it was a full house. I guess it's just not mee that enjoys Dessert 1st before anything else. LOL.

What I ordered

~ Birthday Cake Cupcake ~ Red Velvet, a must & all time favorite flavor for myself. The cake is really yummy along with the cream cheese frosting. Perfectly delicious. Like how a Red Velvet Cupcake should be. I had it on Friday, 2 days after from it being purchase on Wednesday, still good. Not dried at all. ~ Brownie was really on the moist side. It wasn't dry and big. Wasn't too sweet which i like. ~ Berry Citrus Lemonade was refreshing. They use Nugget ice! Ahhh I love it!

The owner Sarah was the one taking your orders and frosting the cupcakes herself. Cool concept. You pick your flavor of cake, than you pick your frosting & toppings. Which they do it right in front of you over the glass counter.

When i walked into the cupcake shop. It was super chic, girly & so pretty. Loving the vibes indeed. With the total wall backdrop along the neon lit signs. So many cute photo op's for you to enjoy.

Was able to be the 1st 50 guests to receive their cute tote during Grand Opening Day promo.

I'll definitely be back with my other mama friends to enjoy the other baked goods such as their cookies.its huge & other cupcake flavors . Heard their latte drinks were good from other guests sitting next to us.

Located off Richfield, right next to Blue scoop ice cream shop and a few doors from Nikki's kitchen. Lots of parking available...

The door opens, and bam! you’re hit by the aroma of freshly baked cake and sugar. The display case is pastel perfection: cupcakes lined up like a rainbow row of edible joy. You order a Chocolate Peanut Butter and a Lemon Heaven (because why choose?).

First bite: the cake is tender, with just the right bounce and a hint of vanilla underlying the more forward flavor. The frosting is silky, balanced, not too sweet, not too thick. The Peanut Butter one has a nutty tang and a drizzle that makes it feel indulgent but not overdone. The Lemon one is zesty, playful, and refreshing.

The staff smiles. They wrap your cupcakes securely for the trip home (no frosting casualties). You leave feeling like you just made a friend a tasty,...

The place is super cute. Love the concept of being able to create your own cupcake. However… we asked for an Oreo cupcake that they had a sign up for in the display case. They were out of premade ones but had all the ingredients to make one, so they did. They charged us extra because it was considered a “custom” cupcake. It was not a custom cupcake, it was a cake we literally just ordered off the menu from the display case. But whatever. To add to the disappointment, the cake...
