Maurices — Local services in York

I typically have a great experience in this store.....however this evening when I went in with a plus size 14 year old.....the manager (Lindsey) and other worker were less than helpful.

We specifically asked for black jeans, we were not completely sure on size so staff provided a size that was too small....ok no big deal, after 2 other sizes it was clear she had no idea how to dress a plus size body figure.

I went to the plus size side and began to get appropriate sizes for this young girl. We found what we needed and continued to shop. Mind you that we were the only one in the store. I also had my 4 year old in the store with us. The 4 year old needed to use the bathroom and they refused to allow her access to the bathroom stating it was corporate policy......I have been into many Maurices and that has never been the case. We ended up leaving the store and will be calling corporate in the morning.
