Sohier Park Welcome Center — Local services in York

Lots of Maine gifts and some snaps for the kids. Located at Nubble light. The views here are amazing and it is nice to have bathrooms as this pace gets real busy. Despite all the people on the day we went this park was clean and enjoyable. They even had schooner faire music playing in the gift store. Nothing like local folk music to set you in the mood. "I see the light on Casco bay".

Parking can be tight...

Staff were rude. Drove 2.5 hrs had to use restrm went inside to ask. Lady said outside. As we were walking away ( and yes we said thank you) she said follow the signs. Not sorry but when some needs to use the restroom and they dont see the "signs" that are small, they are going to ask. Do better, just because our backs were turned and we were walking away we heard you. If you dont like your job...

Fantastic view of Nubble Light, Maine's most iconic lighthouse! Easy parking, nice visitor center, informative, friendly volunteers roaming the grounds to answer your questions or take your photos. Large clean restrooms and even a nice gift shop with souvenirs and tee shirts. Don't waste your money going to Fox restaurant. Save a bundle and get far better food downtown...
