We went to get a bite to eat and while speaking to the hostess she said there was a 30 minute wait. She then starts texting on her phone, I was under the assumption that she was reaching out to the bar area to see if any seats were available. I then said if I could give her my name and she wrote it down. We were totally ignored by this hostess. We then wanted to take a walk around the area and we were told we couldn’t unless we are staying at the resort. I believe if you are a no body, and not an elite loaded with money, they don’t want you to eat there. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name. I will never go there again, the Cliff House has better staff and treats people...

My wife and I were excited to try this place out, and overall, it wasn't bad. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, after we were seated by the hostess, we weren't greeted for at least 15 minutes. My wife--who has worked in the service industry--eventually had to get up to tell the hostess. Once we were greeted the service was OK. Little auk is on the grounds of the magnificent ViewPoint Hotel. It’s lovely setting under a broad tent decorated with lanterns and the oceanside location offers gentle breezes while you explore an excellent menu that offers everything from delicious small plates to entrees options.
