DEAR COLLECTORS... I'm a high end MLB collector. I would not recommend going to this shop unless you want to buy boxes. As far as singles go, they can't appeal to us. The entire shop is riddled with SGC graded cards, all priced as if they are PSA 10. They don't grade with PSA or Beckett at all. As we all know, there is a VERY clear difference in price between a PSA 10 & SGC 10. So I asked. Was told PSA isn't as good as SGC on many levels and angles. 🤣 They strictly grade SGC. What a disappointment.

So do as you wish with your cards, they are yours. Buy cards where you wish, it's your money. But asking anyone to pay PSA prices for a blockly SGC slab isn't cool. Please look at the back of the SGC slab compared to any other grading company. 🤢

This review was meant for collectors. Not breakers/ gamblers. Not flippers or salesman, but COLLECTORS. It isn't harsh, its actually very friendly. I'm the only one who has the courage to at least tell you why I walked out of the store. It's like asking someone to pay Cadillac prices for a GMC. Not cool.

I could be wrong, so I'll ask once more. Do you currently send your cards to be graded with PSA? Were the ones at your store now...

Most card shops, especially the ones that deal the TCG cards usually care more about the card games going on in the store with the usuals rather than the customers. This place is a complete opposite every single employee makes sure that every one of your questions or answered and that you priority number one in the store. That goes for multiple customers in the store as well. I've never seen anyone wait in the store period. It's a five-star staff and they're very knowledgeable with every item they carry in the store. Lafayette is needed a card shop like this for a really long time I highly recommend this place for sports cards, TCGplayer cards, comic books, and probably a lot of other stuff I'm missing that I haven't seen yet. Don't take my word for it I challenge you to look for any other card shop on Google that has only five-star ratings across the board. I looked this is...

Went there earlier today. Was my first time ever checking out the store and it was quite the unwelcoming experience. The guy i dealt with was very standoffish, I was trying to sell a card for some cash and some store credit or maybe even some box sets to open up with my son. Nothing. Guy looked at the card for maybe 2 seconds and shooed me away. Was told that the customer service here was EXCELLENT so im not sure what the hangup was. Ended uo going to the other side of lafayette where it as able to do business but they didnt have any box sets unfortunately... Hopefully this isn't a consistent thing.. there was a lady in there that was super nice, and a guy with curly black hair that was fine. But the blonde guy I dealt with (didnt even get a name) was kinda...
