This review is for the RV Parking area just below the Hotel & Casino. We pulled our small trailer into a spot the first week of October as we were done traveling for the day. Just two rigs when we pulled in at 4pm, within the hour maybe six more. The area is gravel with generous sized numbered sites all in a row. Each space is mostly level, includes a small picnic table on a square of clean artificial turf and a sign with simple information/rules for staying there. There are zero connections, but security comes by regularly, a golf cart shuttle is available anytime you want to head to/fro the casino or restaurant, and it’s free. Our evening and early morning was quiet and peaceful. Only after we were up and getting ready to depart the next day did we hear the rumble of a garbage truck. While this would be very hot in the summer, it was early fall and just fine for us. We were glad to stay somewhere not far from I-5 and able to get a meal in the casino restaurant where it was quiet, food was good, and the service friendly and prompt.

The hotel rooms are very nice, and the casino has a relaxed, clean atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here after a night ride over Mt. Shasta.

New, clean and empty environment. On the small size in comparison to most casinos though quite similar in size to the other handful of casinos off I-5 North. My experience doesn’t speak to the normal day-to-day operations since I stopped in from a drive home from Oregon to California at the crack of dawn. There was probably 4-5 other patrons and another 5-8 workers at the time. Parking lot was empty as well. According to a worker, this casino opened up about a year ago. I asked if they get busy on the weekends and she stated yes. Due to low patrons during my visit the air was flowing in just about all the sections I attended. I deducted a star due to the coffee was cold and because of the temperature the powder creamer did not dissolve. That wasn’t good at all! The only other negative experience was the one machine that I enjoyed playing had a man sitting right next to me and the smoke from his cigarettes gave me a headache. This is not a direct affect of the casino itself, of course.

Writing this review as I'm here on Mother's Day. Wife wanted to drive from Medford to check out the new Casino we usually stop @ Rolling Hills when coming back home from central CA when we visit family, so this could be an alternative when heading home during those trips and is certainly closer than 7 feathers.

There are plenty of slot machines and of our party of 5 gamblers, 2 won a sizeable difference from what they put in. The other 3 spent their budget after being up and down. The casino doesn't have a buffet, "yet" is what I'm told but the restarunt food was good and reasonably priced. Not amazing but worth what we spent and satisfied with the quality.

The staff was a mix, a small handful hyper-friendly employees but the rest was adequate, nobody I encountered was "rude". I did ask the guest services if the would honor a $5 slot coupon from Rolling Hills and they said no. I think this is a mistake as rolling hills has more to offer.

On the floor between the machines is tight in some areas and wide in others, surgical arrangements of slot stations could fix this.

My biggest disappointment is the smoke. I'm not a hypersensitive non-smoker, was raised by a smoker and I like a good cigar from time to time, but my eyes were tearing it was so strong, especially closer to the bar. It would be nice to have dual services for non-smokers or increased ventilation on the side closest to the RR Bar.

You can tell there is room for expansion and the potential is there. All in all had a good time. We will likely keep rolling hills & seven feathers on our radar until later, maybe a year come back and check the progression, because in time this could be the...

Good and bad. Newer facility - rooms very nice, comfortable beds, decent finishes. Did notice some fit issues such as tub faucet not fit properly - pipe sticking out of wall and allowing water to run down behind wall (Room 111 if you want to fix that management). Now the bad - family and I had been driving for 8+ hours, looking forward to a sit down meal - daughter had even been reading us the menu from the Resort. Checked in, unloaded our stuff, headed to eat - and made it two steps past the front desk when security stopped us from heading to eat. Two of our group were under 21 (19 and 20). Security would not allow us to walk through the casino to the restaurant. Got on his ear piece, we waited, and then he proceeded to tell us would be 1 hour or more for someone from the restaurant to come escort us? Seriously? Then another wait after that? Explained they were short of staff. Funny we didn't get a "short staff" room discount! Guard/security suggested we just eat at the Asian food place by the lobby - we were starving so we did. WORST food I have had in ages - my chicken seemed like it had spent a week in a crock pot it was so dried out and stringy. Even starving I could not eat it - picked at the white rice which was good - dumped the rest. My entire group - nobody ate everything and we dumped it. Pretty disappointing visit for our first stay - which will also be our last. Place has potential but they better work out a lot of issues that at least we...

Due to an emergency water break at our home, we were forced to get a hotel and decided to try the new room's out at rain rocks. At first, it seemed like it's going to be a very nice stay. The front desk People were very kind and helpful. As we entered the main hotel and went up the elevator it was very clean and the smell was very inviting, because everything is new. As we entered the room, it looked very nice, until we wanted to take a shower. I don't know who in their right mind would design a shower. That doesn't have a closing door!!!! I immediately called down to the front desk to tell them that the third shower was missing a door. The front desk person, who answered the phone explained to me that that is the way that it was designed and apologized. I must say taking a shower in the cold was not fun! There's no exhaust fan in the restroom at all. The warm air from the shower did not stay in the shower because it didn't have a closing door. Of course, we made it work. But the floor outside of the shower was completely drenched in water. I don't know how they expect you to keep all the water in the shower without a door?! The beds were very hard. And my husband didn't sleep well at all. Overall, we did not enjoy our stay at all and will not be coming back. I do not recommend staying at this hotel if you like...
