El Zaguan Taqueria — Restaurant in Yreka

The food was good as always but placing a special order results in the special order being paid for but not being received. How do I order extra meat and no beans? I thought saying no beans and extra meat would have done it. I did get charged for the extra meat but didn't get it instead I got extra filler of rice, so when I ordered it the girl read it back to me and then when she presented the order to the people cooking it they asked her what it said she told them again what it said and they still did whatever...

Easily the best and most authentic Mexican food in Siskiyou county. They source their ingredients locally, and have homemade tortillas. Their prices aren't bad for the quality, and extremely kind service. More of a humble setting than a commercialized restaurant, considering they'd starting out of a food truck (their expansion shows their quality product and work ethic). Although we seem to have an abundance of Mexican/Latin food in this town, there are two restaurants that stand above, Rico's tacos and El Zaguan. It's the only restaurant that has an open pit, wood burning grill and it adds a whole nother level top their recipes. Prices are outstanding, food is tasty, staff is courteous and welcoming. My only complaint has to be there nachos, which they use a rather bland cheese sauce on/for but make up for it with killer toppings...
