KFC — Restaurant in Yreka

Took 20 minutes to even be greeted. Once greeted had possibly the rudest young lady I have ever met take my order. Took 30 minutes to get food. Food was somewhat decent. Was absolutely atrocious inside. Floors and tables just destroyed. Someone was taking out the garbage but not cleaning tables. Garbage wasn’t even full. Drive through seemed to be getting very quick service but I can not confirm that. Window person was letting soda run on the ground for like 2 minutes straight when a soda cup was full.

There were three mistakes with customers in the line JUST while I was in line.

Clerk sold pot pies twice but didn’t actually have any.

Instead of going to the customer they yelled loudly across the lobby.

They didn’t have enough tenders since it seems like that’s the most popular thing. One customer was already waiting when I got there and was still waiting when I left.

A customers order took so long she wanted her money back. The guy in the striped shirt insisted she stay for her order but did refund. Lady was beyond irate.

Keep in mind there were only 4 people waiting when I got there. 2 customers eating. And 2 or three clearly loitering in the store. Definitely not super busy and the drive through lane never wrapped around like it does at my local store.

There are many loiterers in the parking lot including a lady who was clearly ‘on something’ kept peeking in the window right at me. She had what I think was her daughter come in the store with seemingly no right to be there. Her daughter spent some time near me and my family and smiled and then walked out and was looking in my windows. I immediately moved my car. There were degenerates outside carrying on and saying violent things and kicking bottles and clearly sipping something out of paper bags.

A very rough gentleman that certainly appeared to have major issues came in and tried to talk to the clerk incoherently and got very violent and stomped off very mad.

The gentleman in the black striped shirt, although a bit abrasive, seemed to have decent customer service skills.

There was a ton of inappropriate talk between customers and locals.

This store needs help. I suspect that people in this area know it. Hungry passers through were noticeably irate except for one who came in right as I was finishing up. One local seemed to be enjoying herself.

Bathrooms were incredibly clean.

I would be surprised if this store makes any money. I think it could do very well with some changes.

I was given an apology for the wait and did eat everything.

If you are in the mood for KFC I would avoid this place...

I went to drive threw to get lunch .....What an awful surprise that was! KAYLEE was working at the drive threw.So I placed my order then saw what I thought was a better deal only to find out it only comes with the meat No sides.So When I went to pay for my food KAYLEE had a fit when I changed my order! I asked her to refund me for the order and I would like the first order.Well she had a fit! Walked to the back where foid is prepared then said, I don't know how to do this🤔Duh! Then she slammed the window shut and told "You need to go" Totally refusing to give me any food or the receipt for food she charged me for and a refund!I insisted on getting the receipt stating I'd been refunded! Experienced the worst customer service. Came through drive through and ordered the 16 piece family meal and paid $55.99 plus tax, ended up waiting around 20 minutes for our food. Got home and realized our fries were missing. My husband called and spoke to the manager, my husband asked what they would do about this before he drove back to pick up our fries (manager did not offer anything for inconvenience) she stated she would have our fries ready for pick up. I called back and stated that I was not happy about this and we should get something more than just our fries for the inconvenience, Manager said we could have a cake, I continued to tell her that I was not happy with that after the inconvenience of the wait time plus not having all our food and as I was speaking she hung up on me.
