
I am not one to write a lot of reviews, but as I sit in my car crying, I think this needs to be said. For context, I have been a repeat customer. I unfortunately broke my real nail by slamming it in a door. It’s been a couple months since it happened but I still wanted to let it heal after it got infected. I went to Blush a week ago and the guy doing my nails said he could fill it in with builder gel & it would be fine. Fast forward to today and I can see green under the gel (mind you I paid $90 pre-tip for the design I asked for, which was simple French with the 3D clear gel sculpting on top. It was not the same as the inspo pic, but I didn’t say anything bc I was still grateful). The lady today spent about 4 minutes taking my nails off and making remarks to all of her coworkers about my nail in their native language while looking at me disgusted. In a way I don’t blame her, because a partially green nail can be gross, but you are a specialist in nails, this is what happens sometimes and you need to be professional. I was so embarrassed already as the girls getting their nails done next to me stopped talking and just watched and listened to this happening. Without any further cleaning up of any of my nails after filing them off, she said ‘you’re done’ and motioned for me to get out of the seat so she could sit her next client waiting next to my chair. I walked up to the front & the lady at the front did not even LOOK at me, just gestured to the screen with her finger and said ‘10 dollars.’ I paid & left tip. She slides me the receipt to sign, STILL not looking at me. I signed and waited for confirmation. I stood there several seconds before she actually looked at me and asked ‘do you need anything else?’ I said no and left. I was having a really hard day bc I got news earlier that my dog is terminally ill & this was so not needed for something that was beyond my control (and recommended by your tech a week ago!!). So sad because it’s right across from where I live. I will be going out of my way now to go...
Read moreI came here with such high hopes because the reviews were really great! I left so disappointed because the nail technician That did my nails unfortunately did not do a good job at all. I did a beautiful pink chrome nail for the holidays and after she finished I get up to wash my hands thinking there was just some chrome powder to wash off, at the register when I was about to pay I am really taking a good look at my nails and there is glue all around the the nail on my cuticle and finger and all up under my nails. She did not clean that off at all and she did not clean my cuticle back at all before she began. Another tech that was at the register saw me looking at my nails and cleaned them up a bit for a couple minutes and was very apologetic but they was only so much she can do. Looking at them more throughout the day I can see that the primal tech that did my nails used nail extensions that were not my size so the nails look strange from the size. I’m so disappointed that I spend $70 for nails I would not have paid $20 for. I am not one that usually leaves reviews of give anyone a hard time or be an inconvenience but I would hate for someone to have the same experience. The tech that helped me afterwards was really nice, but I really wish I had my nails completely redone.
This is more of a warning really for people reading the comments to just maybe request a technician that you know is good (there are a bunch in the reviews that are named) because I really regret I didn’t request...
Read moreI had been going to the same nail tech for the last 10 years in Georgia. Being new to the areaI I had to find a new nail tech, I am extremely picky due to being in the salon industry. I made an appointment back a few months ago, which I am embarrassed to say I was late too, when I walked into Blush they still accommodated me and without a hard time for being extremely late and not calling to let them know. I didn’t know any of the nail techs and knew I would be put with anyone available. They put me with Rachel, I have been going to her for the last few months, I just want to say Rachel is amazing. She talks to her customers, remembers everything about you and what you had going on since the last time she saw you. She takes her time, her art work is over the top beautiful. All the other nail techs in there are so friendly and I always hear and see them engaging with their client. They do not talk amongst each other like in other nail salons, it is all focused on their customer in the chair. I have also been seeing Quinn for my waxing, she also runs the salon. Quinn is so gentle and talks with you the whole time, she is so sweet. Your doing a great job Quinn with managing the salon, keep up the good work. At Blush they do not try to rush you out of the salon, they are over the top professional and friendly. I just had these done a few days ago. Beautiful job Rachel, thank you for always taking...
