I just want to preface this with the fact that I used to be a server just less than a year ago. So I know how things go. To start with it was so slow that my server Lexi only had two tables and like two people at the bar. To start she took forever to get to me and my girlfriend. We are both 22, I think this is important to mention. When she finally did make it too us i saw that shes expecting a baby pretty soon so I let the wait slide because she was pregnant.

She took our drink order and was very nice, i ordered an adult bevarge (alos want to mention that cocktails are like 16 bucks here). She came back to take our order without my drink, no biggie. I asked for fries instead of refried beans with my meal and i got told it would be an $1.25 upcharge. Which is really weird for fries. Either way I told her to just do it and add the $1.25. Now this is the part where my age comes into play. Right after she left our table she went straight to these two middle aged mens table. Without putting our order in. At first it didnt even register in my head that she didnt put our order in. Until it had been around 10 minutes of her sitting there talking to the other customer about random things. This was all right in front of us like 3 feet away. It felt very disrrespectful and like she just assumed we wouldnt tip just because we are younger. Also keep in mind this is while im still waiting for my cocktail. I ended up giving up on the cocktail, until she brought it out 30 min later.

The food itself was okay. Nothing great, which is a bummer because this place is very expensive compared to other resurants just like this that offer better food. We ended up getting our check and i noticed the $1.25 up charge, except it wasnt for fries. It said "papas" which i looked up are little fried balls filled with sausage. So I really feel like she lied about the upcharge just to rack the tab up a little bit. She also didmt take off the drink even though i waited 30 min for it.

Im really bothered by all this. Yes younger people do tip less.....IF YOU DONT ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB AND TAKE CARE OF THEM. I just moved into wildlife and was looking for a good mexican resurant to frequently eat at close to home. It...

Zero service. This was our first time going here, so I have no previous experience to compare it to. I don’t usually write reviews, much less negative ones, but this was truly an outstanding experience, in that it was so terrible. I’ve been in the restaurant business for many years and like to give people the benefit of the doubt; I understand that sometimes there are “off” nights. I’m also not one to walk into a restaurant at the last minute out of sheer courtesy for the staff. So I hope you can understand our disappointment at arriving an hour and 15 minutes before closing, to find a staff member sitting on a bench near the hostess stand who simply looked at us, got up and walked away without a single word. A few moments later, what I’m guessing was a hostess with a nose ring, walked up with an annoyed look on her face, held up 3 fingers (again no verbal communication, no smile, nothing), grabbed 3 menus and at the point, were told to follow her. We sat down, the person that had gotten up from the bench brought us chips and salsa - again, no words, no “someone will be right with you” or even a “you’re welcome” to our “thank you”. We sat there for 15-20 minutes as 5 or 6 servers walked past us (a couple of them, more than once) not a single one of them ever said a word or made any attempt to check on us and in a restaurant that wasn’t that busy, it really stands out. It equated to “we’re hoping to go home early and maybe if we ignore you long enough, you’ll just leave.” Which is exactly what we did (with again, no words from your staff). I hope this is not the norm. On the bright side, the chips and salsa were ok. The menu looked and sounded good; unfortunately, we’ll never know and definitely aren’t...

Update October 16th 2025 it's been 3 years since our first visit and we decided to give it another try. We so so want to like this place but it's not in the cards! They were not very busy it was about 1:00 on a Thursday afternoon. We were seated immediately but it was quite some time before a server came over and took our drink order and brought menus. We ordered and it took what seemed like in eternity for our food to come out. My wife had the veggie quesadilla, it was okay at least it was hot. Presentation was lacking in that the pieces of quesadilla were stacked on top of each other and it was pretty runny and pretty cheesy so it looked like a blob on the plate. The rice was cold, and the little salad with the guacamole sour cream and pico was attractive. I had the chimichanga which seemed like a soggy burrito with cheese on top, I have never had a chimichanga that was not fried maybe they missed that step but that's okay cuz the filling was cold. It was beef and barely warm the rice was not even barely warm. I did like the Mexican salad with the pico guac and sour cream it was tasty. The rest of it not so much. Once the waiter dropped off our cold food we never saw him again until it was time for the check. My tea ran out we didn't get any hot sauce. So based on our most recent visit they are off the list! They probably won't get another chance. 38 bucks will buy a lot of Taco Bell.

Expectations were high, it was very nice inside clean and well laid out staff was friendly and helpful food was okay, definitely had a lot worse but it wasn't bad. It did seem a little pricey but the portions were big. We might try it again just to try a different menu item but...

This was my first time visiting. I called in my order. The hostess who answered the phone was very nice but not at all knowledgeable of the menu. Which I think is crucial when you have a new establishment in a new area. I wanted Chicken Birria taco’s. She asked another staff member if it was possible for me to get chicken vice beef. She confirmed and also read me the description of the item from the menu. When I picked up my order the hostess was VERY pleasant. The establishment was beautiful and clean. Checkout was easy. I didn’t check my order until I got back home (which was my mistake). The food we not at all what I expected. For one the sides that I paid for with my meal was not included. There were 3 chicken tacos ( not dipped in consome and fried) with consome on the side. So disappointing and I’m still not sure why it took 30 minutes for my order… I’ve had these same taco’s at several local restaurants to include the Anjeo’s on Riverside and these were by far the worst. I called and advised a different hostes that I didn’t get the beans and rice. I did NOT make a complaint about the tacos in their defense. I was advised I could come back and pick up the beans and rice but I didn’t. The order should have been checked prior to me picking it up. I will most likely visit again and order something different. I’m hoping my next food experience is better. If it is, I will update my review.

This place is the worst. The servers and hosts simply gave everyone dirty looks or stared down patrons that entered. The lettuce was brown, and many pieces were soggy and wilted. The rice was dry, bland, flavorless. Not even veggies mixed in, maybe a singular piece of pepper shown in the photo. The sweet tea was crunchy :) As in, the sugar was not dissolved all the way when making it. Asked for guacamole separately on the side and it was placed on top of the lettuce. The mahi tacos were on stiff tortillas that could not be folded and it was no longer a taco, just a tostada. This fish was cooked so that it was greasy and soggy and disgusting. I love mahi and crab but could not finish these. The refried beans seemed to be unfinished. Needed tons of salt and had no flavor. They were still whole beans. Who was the man standing at the back staring at everyone eating? Why is everyone giving us dirty looks? Our server never came back to check on us, or refill drinks, and didn’t even say anything when she placed the check on our table. The restaurant was fairly empty. I don’t think giving her name would help because it seems to be the vibe for the entire restaurant staff. The only thing I was able to finish was my Diet Coke, which is a huge waste for this ridiculous price.

We will never be back!!! Tonight I went to dinner with a friend, our waiter (Yunior) was great, very attentive but did mention the bar was backed up. Place was almost full, but still only one bartender. Drinks did take a while, but they were ok once they arrived. I got a margarita and she got a Mexican mule. We finally got our food and ordered a second round of drinks. My friend's drink came out in a glass half the size of the previous drink. I asked our waiter about it and he sent over the manager who told me that it was the same amount of alcohol so it didn't matter... Anyone who knows anything about mixing drinks know that it's the amount of each ingredient that makes a specific drink so if you pour the same amount of alcohol in a smaller glass, clearly it would not be the same drink. Please see photo for comparison. The second glass completely fits inside the first glass. Instead of arguing with me, she could have just gotten the correct drink or charged us half, but instead she lost two pretty good customers over ~$2. Two stars because our waiter Yunior agreed with me and offered to pay out of his own tip money which we of course declined. He already have to deal with that b-word of a boss.
