It is very unfortunate. We live in the vicinity and we consistently go to ColdStone at least twice a week. Until tonight customer services had been fantastic - (Jacob is awesome!) We always place our orders over the phone (always the same order) and immediately pick up and leave a hefty tip.
Tonight, when I called, a male picked up my call and after stating that I wanted to place an order to pick up he complained about the call to some other female employee. I guess he forgot to mute the phone. She then brought to my attention that -this- ColdStone allegedly will only accept online orders or through the app, which charges you more and if you do call it in like you’ve always done, they push you give out your credit card over the phone, which I am not necessarily comfortable with (and also I you do pay over the phone, you can’t get the rewards). If this was always the policy of the store, I would understand it but up until last week, that was not the case. Simply put, the way we were treated today came across as using “store policy” to justify laziness.

Read moreI used to work at this place, and it has only gone down hill. The scheduling has been getting worse and recently they have been consistently understaffing the place. Two people should not have to serving and closing a place as busy as it is ontop of their unreal expectations when it comes to closing in a certain period of time (a hour or less max) when it comes to everything they have to do to close. The cleanliness of the back and stone are poor, there has been mold on the fridge and freezer doors, and roaches underneath the icecream in the ghea (where the icecream we are serving sits) and all in the backroom. Their ethics could improve aswell, the are overworking staff when it comes to consistency understaffing the store, there way of ‘firing’ staff is just never scheduling them so they quit half of the time and just poorly plan out the schedule of each week and blatantly ignore time off requests. All in all, it is up to you if you want to continue to eat where roaches have been crawling around on or near your icecream, and I would highly recommend never working at...
Read moreThere were 3 young ladies working today; however, only one was taking orders. The person that walked in before me ordered a big order that took a long time to make. During this process, none of the other staff members stopped to wait on me. I had to wait for 2 custom ice cream cups and a custom GALLON of ice cream to be made and then the same girl came over to ask what I wanted.
I literally only came in to get a new orea taco that was PRE-MADE and in the freezer. 😭
