My intention was to patronize a local dispensary when I set out on my journey tonight. I knew the address but other than that detail I knew very little else about this establishment. I could see the large sign from the parking lot as I pulled in. It reads "The Vault". An ambiguous title at first thought. Upon approaching, the heavily tinted windows added an allure of mystery and intrigue. Upon entering, I immediately was greeted warmly by, at first, two smiling women who readily collected my information, then by a strapping you lad with corn silk colored locks and an inviting demeanor. The inaugural week proved to be a popular spectacle among the local cannaisseurs. As a man of great heft I was pleasantly surprised by the grandiose seating arrangements, comfortable and yet practical. The crimson interior gave off a sense of refinement and professionalism. Quickly my name was announced and I entered the interior of this wonderous place, images of majestic halls and fantastical dungeons coursed through my minds eye with anticipation of what lies ahead. My nerves peaked with the remembrances of the horror that many a dispensary would thrust upon the localities in other lands. To my utmost relief I was greeted by a kind and gentle lass, her name was Madison. She quizzed my tendancies and preferences in the area of cannabis and cannabis products. Her kindness and knowledge were wholly unmatched. I made my purchase based solely from her wisdom. Her namesake, James Madison, once said, "Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives." I feel Madison is a great example of this ideal. As my adventure came to an end I was pointed through a vestibule of immense security. Two powerfully built gates blocked my way. I was assured that these gates were a friend, not a foe and that my patience was greatly appreciated. I used this time between the two gates to reminisce on my experience. All at once it made sense. "THE VAULT". At first knowledge I thought the title ambiguous and possibly pretententious, I finally understood. A vault is a place where kings and emperors might store their greatest treasures or their rarest relics. This place is reliquary containing items of immense importance. One might ask, "is cannabis really that important?", my friends the valuables are not the items used for mercantile pursuits, but the men and women that direct the lost on their path to...
Read moreThis was my first time going to the vault, and I was not disappointed. When I walked in, I was greeted at the front desk with a bright smile. The front desk staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The process of giving my ID to them and getting to the back room was less than five minutes. When I went to the back room, I was greeted at the counter by Morgan, she was really funny and greeted me with a smile. And she made my day. I highly recommend anyone wanting to go here to give it a try you will not be...
Read moreThe shop was okay overall, but it’s definitely one of those dispensaries where you notice the politics and personal beliefs of the owners and staff right away. I have no problem with people expressing themselves, but when I visit a cannabis shop, I’m just looking for good service and quality products not to have political and social views front and center. It created a distracting atmosphere that made the experience feel more about making a statement than about the...
