Alpine Coaster Sapa — Local services in Cau May Ward

I am very excited to experience this ride but was very, very disappointed especially with how the staff handled my situation Unfortunately, my car (no. 12) failed to work. I WAS ALMOST NOT MOVING. My brother and sis in law who was ahead of me reported it to the staff because I called them and asked for help. My son, brother and sister are all behind me and they saw that the light at the back of my car is not on "no light". I had it on video. The staff told my brother not to worry as it will automatically pull me up. It did and as I reach the end I spoke to staff personally and explained what happened and that they should let us ride again because the first time did not work. They are not listening and not minding us. They even said we can ride again but have to pay 100k VND. Another staff came and I explained again ... another disappointment because he's even more rude than the first staff. I told him they can check their video and he said NO VIDEO. I said I have a video but he did not want to see. This guy even showed me that my car no. 12 is working so it's not the company's fault. SO WAS IT MY FAULT THAT IT DID NOT WORK? THAT SOMEONE MAYBE FAILED TO SWITCH IT ON???? DO THEY THINK I AM STUPID THAT I JUST DONT WANT TO MOVE AND STAY SO LONG IN THE ROLLER COASTER??? I lost my tempe and said nevermind, took a picture of them and told them I will complain and give them the review they deserve. It is only that time they asked me stay and they will let me ride again but I was in no mood to enjoy. They have already shown the type of management and customer service thay have.... VERY BAD!!! If there's a way to post their picture...

Writing this review just 2 hours after we tried the Alpine coaster. I wish I could leave a good review, but we had an extremely unpleasant time, contrary to the good reviews others have posted here.

Just before our turn started, we used google translate and told a staff member we wanted to go slow. However, he told us to pull the handle FORWARD and not let go (But this will make the ride move at the highest speed??) He also said ‘no phones’, and made us keep our phones in pocket (but literally everyone in front of us were filming?? And so many others have posted themselves on the ride on TikTok????)

When we pulled the handle back to reduce the speed and took out our phones, he literally stepped out onto the tracks and shouted at us using a megaphone “why you pull back??? Keep your phones!!! Hello hello keep your phones”

I find his behaviour extremely disturbing because his aggression was only directed at us. He also tricked us into pulling forward (going super fast) even though we clearly showed him a translation to go slow.

We guessed that maybe he wanted us to ride fast so we could finish the ride quickly, but it was a very short queue and others infront of us were also going at a slow speed and filming on their phones.

To be fair, other staff at this attraction were nice and friendly. Unfortunately, this particular staff made the whole experience extremely unpleasant and we were so intimidated by him that we had 0 photos or videos of us...
