SABOTAGE CRAFT BEER. — Local services in Ho Chi Minh City

I really wanted to like this place and it's so sad that I don't because the staff members are so nice. They're out of double IPA and will be for about 3 weeks (that's why I came).

The regular IPA is very underwhelming.

The saddest part, they're one of the few deceitful and dishonest places in HCM that add random fees to your bill when you go to pay. I asked what the fee was, the worker said it's a '5% service charge'. They had actually added a whole extra 15% to my bill (it was not 5%).

If you're reading this from abroad, only a very very small number of places in HCM add any kind of hidden fees. It is not at all common.

Edit to address owners' garbage response: If you can't buy a beer from your venue without paying an extra 15% charge, then just make that the ACTUAL price of the beer instead of trying to deceive your customers :)

Why am I paying for 'service', they're your employees, YOU pay them, not me.

Also I would have tried more menu items before my review if they weren't out of stock...

One word: "AMAZING"

Accidentally ended up here while being thirsty... got two homebrew beers: "Sabotage IPA" & "Pineapple Fruit Ale." As a Belgian (professional beer enjoyer), I have to admit, these beers were INSANELY DELICIOUS!

We ordered 2 housemade burgers, and again, AWESOME! Best burger I've had in 30 days in Vietnam! (Had burgers 5 times, including chicken restaurants.)

Also, the manager was really cool and had a little chat with us. Awesome atmosphere and overall great service and delicious food!

MUST COME FOR BEER...

I was looking to grab a beer somewhere nearby my hotel and stumbled across this bar. It is a super hip bar. The manager was incredibly friendly and chatted with me for a little bit telling me his back story. I'm not a big IPA guy, but I liked the one that was given to me here.

I didn't have any food, so I can't speak on that, but if you are looking for a very chill bar and you like beer, check...
