Easy of access, world class offices with functioning lifts and escalators the hanging flowers and plants on the balconies of this majestic building complex makes it a wonder to look at. The designers of this building have a great taste of nature as they tried to blend it in to this composite structure.Due to its excellent design. And state of the art services with well maintained public toilets and ablution facilities you find most of the prestigious institutions located here. The linking of the old building to the new complex via the foot bridge adds value to these properties. No wonder why the US State department has some offices here. Banks are also located the under ground parking basements complete the goodness of the place. Just world class architect. There are a lot of good eating places with the strategically located food court. So one will not go hungry or need to leave this complex to look for food. The skywalk is one place to go for those in need of adrenaline pumping environments. The type of lifts on this building are not for those who are afraid of heights as they are in clear glass and you will not like to look outside.Security on this complex is up to standard as you can visibly see them on patrol making their presents felt. One of the cleanest buildings and...

This mall is not the place where you expect to get all the daily needs, it is having a limited shopping options. You can hop in for you mobile provider connectivity, clothes, jewellery, shoes only. All these shops are on the ground floor, on the other floors there are offices. For me this was really a different type of mall as back home, malls are completely occupied by retailers. There are food options too but mostly selling local food. Parking is a nuisance as you use public parking. Avoid this place and go...

It used to be a place you would sit and relax at while taking a break from running around the CBD. Now l can only say if you're going there it's because you're going there. The floor used to glow that granite would have a shine and the fountain would spray glaringly cooling any passer by. Most shops are still open and running. The extension of Eastgate has however offered businesses a professional setup which is good but it's only just the extension that's a site! (Will give a detailed analysis after...

Eastgate happens to be one of the Buildings in Harare that always gets my attention. The Eastgate Centre is a shopping centre and office block in central Harare, Zimbabwe whose architect is Mick Pearce. Designed to be ventilated and cooled by entirely natural means, it was probably the first building in the world to use natural cooling to this level of sophistication

This was one of my favourite hang outs in Harare, as a teen. It's great to see all the developments and new buildings that popping up around that part of town. The new foot bridge across Robert Mugabe road that connects the two iconic buildings pretty cool.
