Funny how the National Art Gallery has been a part of my route for over a decade and despite eating at the different little cafes that have been a part of it over the years and even attending a few events set at the gallery, I had never taken the time to actually tour the exhibitions, and oh-my, have I missed out on so much over the years!

Read morePeople who are quite Creative exhibit here. Communicating with the staff can be a challenge sometimes , especially when you dont look too important (hey, this is personal experience) but they often are very professional. After all, they are looking after priceless art.

Read moreWe really enjoyed our visit to the National Gallery and will return for the next exhibition. It's a nice space and kid friendly. We went on the weekend and we saw some children taken part in art class upstairs. Unlike many museums, it actually feels like people/artists come here to socialize -- it has a feeling of community. I was expecting lots of sculpture (and there is a sculpture garden) and was really pleasantly surprised with the paintings and installations.
