Recently spotted this new Italian spot in South Loop, right near a friend’s place — so we grabbed a table one evening. 🦪 Happy Hour Oysters ($1 each, 4–6 PM) – Fresh, sweet, and served with house-made chili sauce. Max one dozen per order — still a steal! 🐙 Grilled Octopus with Black Rice & Arugula Salad – Octopus was a bit overcooked, but the black rice and arugula with saffron vinaigrette were bright and tasty. 🍝 Grano Arso Tagliatelle + Egg Yolk Sauce – Creamy, sweet sauce with king oyster mushrooms — a great vegetarian pick. 🦑 Squid Ink Pasta with Clams, Crab & Roe – Sweet-spicy with capers for tang — no lemon needed. Delicious and flavorful. 🥩 Short Rib with Pesto & Red Pepper Nut Sauce – Crispy outside, tender inside. Both sauces were great, but the beef stood well on its own.
